I also thought Yeat 2093 was very fresh sounding and I liked it. He is an acquired taste but the production is superb. Can't see it being very popular with you FOCs though

Great recent performance at the ApolloMy Album of last year.
Like cramming for exams I’ve been listening to a lot of albums over the last few days to see what I might have missed. Won’t make a top ten just for the sake of it though, currently up to 6 or 7
Working my way through the Piccadilly Records review of the year by selectively listening to some of their picks, usually some good ones. A couple today to add to a developing list.
The only problem is to find the time for repeated listens as well as covering as broad a base as possible. Relying a lot on first impressions to pad out my ten although there are four or five have had repeated plays since release
Nice to get an indirect shout out, even if it still didn't alert me that the bar/pub might be open over here and my legal tender might be good for a pint...We had an album released this year nominated not that long ago, so you have at least a top 1 ;)
An perhaps our collective live show gig of this year (in different venues)? Though the competition is tough here with Local Natives recently. ;-)My Album of last year.
