Honestly, people on this site have lost their heads.

Every player thread has ridiculous, over the top comments. Many straying into outright abuse.

All because they can't deal with a bad run of games for two months.

I was just about to say the same thing. Can't believe what I'm reading in most threads currently.. We are heading quickly towards winning the Champions of Entitlement for the first time in our history that's for sure..

Glimpses of the player from last season. Some lovely touches and dribbles but just can't piece that final shot or pass together at the moment. Feel like we just need one to be pinged into the top corner and then he'll be right back at it again. But that feels like the case with so many players this season.

Yeah, looks like he just needs a confidence booster..

He's second guessing himself when he gets the ball. The best part of his game is how he can take the ball on the turn and get shors and passes off before the defender even know what happened, but now he's taking a bit too long.

There was times yesterday when he could drive at the defence like he would last season, but he doubted himself and looked for the nearest safe back.

Clearly a confident issue.

From the age of about seven Foden has been considered, by people who understand the game, to be a fantastic footballer. When Pep first came to the Etihad he considered Foden to be one of the most exciting prospects he had ever seen (read Pep’s recent biography). Last season he was Player of the Year.

Now, after half a season plagued by injury, illness and poor form he’s been written off and the previous 16 or 17 years we’re all a flash a pan.

FFS, some people need to give their heads a shake.

This is his first off season since he made a breakthrough. We can allow that drop off. Whatever his illness is it has really effected him.
We can allow it?! Why it’s his job. I love Foden I just think your post that he’s done for the season is ridiculous. Do you honestly think Phil thinks that way? Or Pep would accept that??

Bit impatient Ray, the others around him aren't pulling up trees as I'm sure you must have noticed.

Hasn't he just returned from injury or like others on here, are you doubting that too ?
He has been back a while and nothing has really changed. I have written off this season apart from the FA Cup. If he regains some form in that then it is not all doom and gloom.

We have no real alternatives. Same with having to play Kyle Walker and to some extent Rico Lewis longer than we should.

Needs to be put on the right midfield, simplify his game ie work hard, cut in and shoot, lay in the fullback for a cross if we ever get a right back that is. The theory of him being a 8/10 is simply just a theory he doesn’t not have it in him to run games from there.

Players thinking the team is playing "good enough to get points and results" after 1 win in 11 games is not exactly what I wanted to hear.
