United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I actually felt sorry for Nunes yesterday who before his fuck up was doing a decent job in an unfamiliar role.

Pep has been having to play at least two players out of their natural positions. It's not an excuse for the whole team (because the whole team is now playing pretty shit, with the possible exceptions of De Bruyne and Rúben), but it is a fact. Did Nunes ever — as in once — play in that position for Wolves?

And another thing that pisses me off, when was the last time we mugged these fuckers off with a result, how many times have they done it to us over the years, we NEVER do to them what they consistently do to us, as shite as they are, they have consistently bagged last minute winners against us, or come back from 2 down, are they just lucky bastards
Can’t always be luck though it’s far too often. I remember Vonk’s back header standing on the Kippax. Left at 2 2 and walking up Platt lane heard the cheer and knew the rags had scored a 3rd. Few since then. Absolutely gutting and I feel there’s something in the players conscious never mind subconscious. I’ll include us fans in that too. :(

Ridiculous even though he has done very well at Brentford.

No disrespect to Brentford but managing a club of the size that City has now become is an entirely different ball game. As I'm sure you know.
No word of a lie — he's now signed for Red Bull on a long-term contract, but had Klopp been available he's one of the few I could see in this job after Pep. People will scream and shout, and I know that there's those on here who hate him, but I could have seen him at City. And it would have been very interesting. Just my opinion.
Anyway, Josep Guardiola is here to do the rebuild job until 2027. He's not getting sacked (no way), and he's not walking, because he's not a walker. He knows there's a scrap on, and he doesn't strike me as someone who walks away from scraps. And thank fucking God…

That Scholes last minute header haunted me for years

Rogers, Delap, Gittens, Olise, Lavia, Sancho, Kantè
The thing is , to enable a player to develop they need to play. Who would have thought Delap would be having the season he is after last year. It's fine doing it in hindsight but not so easy in real life

Lol if we wanted Klopp and he said yes I wouldn't give a fuck about anything that happened in the past, just the absolute meltdown at Dipperville would be good enough.

Another nightmare. Unfortunately at that also.
Watched that in a pub in Great Yarmouth with one of my United mates. He jumped up and screamed in my face, as did two other blokes in the pub, when the goal went in. I had to sit and take it like a man.

One of the worst footballing moments of my entire 40 years.

Well I cracked and decided to torture myself and watch the goals again after seeing them first hand at the game. Horrendous is an understatement.
