It would be a fruitless task if we did try for Yamal but for pure entertainment purposes then why not?
 
This is who I’d keep in our starting 11 next season. Everyone else is either on the bench or sold:

Stones
Dias
Gvardiol
Rodri
Foden
CM
Savio
Haaland
RW

That’s four new starting players. Assume £200m.

All very do-able.

If he comes back well Bobb will have an eye on Savio in this.

The RW needs to be regular goal scorer.
 
Whose the spurs midfielder who always puts a shift in, don’t know much about him or his nationality. Got a terrific engine tho begins with K
 
Given his loans and how injury prone Ake and Stones are (and recently Akanji), I’d like to see Doyle coming in to give Gvardiol a bit of a break. Need a couple of RBs or one with a right-sided CB.

Jonathan David’s free in the summer, Wirtz could be our marquee signing but I really like Goncalves; scores and creates a ton and can play either wing or through the middle. Would also like to see if we can tempt Inter with a big bid for Bastoni.

Finally, we need to sort the wage budget out. I’ve no problems with superstars like Kev, Haaland or home-grown talents like Phil getting big contracts. But Grealish, a decent player at best should not be given £300k a week. You either want to play for the best team in the country or you don’t. Want a better contract with us? Prove you’re worth it.

This is the fallacy of the player that was all overthe over again. Many whined when we signed Kovacic to replace Gundo.

Pray tell, who would you pick to start for you today Gindo or kova?

Aging player are always on the downturn. Both Doku and Savio are miles better than current Mahrez.
 
We need to forget wirtz and musiala as they are not coming here but I like Simons and j think he is getable.

Would be happy with that. Very intelligent footballer and has won everything in the game. You can’t get that lot of experience from many.

It has to happen mate. Take what's happening now on the chin with gritted teeth. Great footballing memories from some but it's clear out and rebuild time.
 
I don’t see us bringing in anyone without any PL experience, doesn’t make sense in January as they need to adapt and we don’t have that much time if we want to progress this season
