PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

More than ever

Even if found guilty, spending your own money on your own business was never a crime until the Cartel decided to prevent City from competing with them.

There is right and wrong & there is legal & illegal

The cartel have done something wrong ( changing the rule to protect them ) and pushed us face the illegal path they pushed us toward.
Exactly our rivals glory years had the benefit of unlimited spending with a nod of approval by the games authorities. Also the sports press celebrated them stockpiling the best players from rivals

Threads jumped about 20 pages since this morning.
So is this all about the supposed 40 point deduction rumour from a few weeks back or has something new that’s come out?
I have read the pages but am wondering if I’ve missed something or if just nonsense.
Mainly just nonsense, some of it repeated add nauseum and then some red asking a daft qiestion

CHEATING!! Cheating of what, mate? Everything was won fair and square on the pitch and no judgement of a tribunal is going to convince me otherwise. We have seen the team struggle, fight and battle hard for those wins and trophies.

It's not like we have fixed matches or bought referees or bribed officials to get entry in a league or vetoed the PL's chair before his appointment. Now, that's cheating!!
Like Juventus did.

Same here. They've got one for sale in a local vintage toy shop. £1,500 !!
I can't remember how much J7 OMA cost in the mid - 1960s, but I would guess that it was somewhere between £5 -£10. Which to be fair to my Mum and Dad was a lot of money almost 60 years ago.
But £1500 is ridiculous for what is basically a very old kids toy.

My experience of Petty Cash is that the amounts in the float total are never Petty and there is normally very little Cash in them.
A thick colleague, finding himself without the cash to get home, emptied the petty cash tin and left an IOU for “everything in here.”

If city is indeed guilty of cheating
What will people do

Do you think you will still support the club ?
Definitely not. I’ll likely be off supporting Chelsea again, or maybe Forest if they finish top 4.

Even if we win, I don’t think we’ll ever get the glory days of the 70’s and 80’s back with these charlatans in charge and, even if we get off, I’m done with these owners. At least with Swalesy, Bally and Taksin, you knew where you were.
You were so shit, that nobody was interested in you, other than being called ‘everyone’s favourite second team’.
You didn’t really know where Wembley was and you didn’t need to stay behind to watch trophies being lifted.
As for having a manager for the long term, we were ground breakers, that Watford have tried to copy, a long, long before the Italians thought having a couple of managers a season was a strategy.

We had 6 consecutive seasons playing in a different division every year, but still featured in the top 10/11 attendances. We’ve lost to Stockport, Bury and Oldham in a local Derby, we had the jerks at Old Trafford with their infamous banner and we’ve lived the only thing good about city is their support.

So, you soft-bodied, eight-limbed mollusc of the order Octopoda, if you really need to ask that ridiculous question, maybe City isn’t the right club for you.

That being said, choosing a user name that reflects a creature with a short lived existence and no backbone suggests you do have some insight…….

I have met Cheesie at our supporters club do one night. He travelled all the way down from Manchester to Weston super Mare. That’s one hell of a journey.

My impression of him is he bleeds Man City, and he is very level headed and intelligent. If he told me something was about to happen I’d take notice at least. He is a top man.
Is there a supporters club in WSM?

Brilliant post.
The great Johnny Cash has a song on Youtube called 'Hurt'. The first line is 'I hurt myself today to see if I still feel'. Pretty deep hey. Well this club of ours has given us some of the best and worst days of our life. We certainly still feel and fuck me, what a ride it is.
It's a Nine Inch Nails song and the original is far better than the Johnny Cash version.

Yes mate there is. Guys from the Weston club go to most of the City games.
I'm originally from Newton Heath but moved to Glastonbury a few years ago.
It would be nice to meet some fellow blues.
Don't want to go all the games as it defeats the object of moving out of Manchester, just to go back every week.
