You've called a poster out for name calling, which is fair enough, but then announced that you see people who you disagree with as 'poison' and want them 'out of our lives'. Genuinely confused how you can reconcile that first position with your latter comment ?

For what it's worth I think the 2 party system is no longer serving us well but I don't think Farage is the answer, especially not Farage backed by a foreign business man interfering in the sovereignty of our nation. Surely if you're not keen on name calling you'll want to give a wide berth to someone like Musk?

Ok, so what actual change do you envision under a Reform/Farage government? What policies will they bring to make our country all perfect ?

Let’s not forget it was Farage who sold us Brexit, who said it would stop immigration and we’ll make our laws and everything will be great - how did that work out? And yet we’re expected to take his word once again.

Working for two years longer will affect the job prospects of young people and unemployment figures will rise.
That’s why we should protest the extension of our working life men as well as women, I want fit healthy young people working and earning so they can lead independent lives.

The truth is however that there aren't enough working people to support pensions; not in the long term. When it was introduced there were 7 working people to every pensioner, now it's something like 4:1
 
I blame the voters, to be honest.

If voters are unintelligent enough to respond to three-word slogans and similar shite, then it's no wonder our politics are in disarray. No sensible debate can be held on any subject. It all descends into a football-like argument, my team good, your team wankers.

I'm not sure democracy can be made to work anymore, not while we have a corrupt media run by greedy billionaires and social media that's full of fruit loops, bigots and nazis. As for Farage and his mates, don't make me laugh. They got us into this shit through Brexit and what passed for a debate at that time. A pack of lies and distortions that played on people's ignorance.

To be fair two party politics is not the best way to run a country and thats why ive always been a proponent of proportional representation. You need a range of voices to represent the electorate. It helps expose extreme views, allowing debate to show them for what they really are, but also ensures decisions (e.g. the cuts to NI that the Torys did to deliberately fuck up the next government or the excessive spending of the last Labour government that left us poorly prepared for the crash in 2008), are made in the best interests of the country and not to satisfy back benchers or play political games.

I wont hold my breath though.

We keep getting told we dont have enough workers and its holding us back. There is already a surfeit of unfilled jobs according to the DWP.

Both having too many jobs and not enough can't be true. They are lying regarding the number of roles available or its people not wanting to work, or people not upskilling to match the roles available or not being flexible (hours of work, geographic location/travel time/salary expectations beyond their marketable skill set).
