Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

This is sooo fucked up.

Completely decimated.

Well it finally is proof we don’t have this world class double squad we routinely get accused of having.

Bad luck all in one season.

Thank fuck it held out until we ruined the rags legacy and won that 4th league.

Everything thrown at us now bounces off me…bullet proof -:)

Hopefully Dias back in 3 weeks.

Stones strap a set of fake legs and let’s go.

Can we recall Doyle in Jan? Or does he have to do the full season? I know sometimes there is a recall clause for January with these loans

He is still starting for Norwich. Regardless of injuries he is better off where he currently is.

We’re still favourites for the match, for whatever reason!
Apparently the bookies always know - don't know what the feck they've been watching in the last 11 games.
I know form is temporary yaddaa yadda yadda - but really?? I said on the build up thread a draw would be good, but given a week of work we might see an improvement - then shit happened

Just seen the news about Dias. Usually I don't advocate buying in January because it's a haven of panic and short-termism, but we really do have no choice now. The season is unravelling and though the club won't attract any world class talent mid-season, there must be some squad filler out there that will improve us.

Another quick point, how many muscle injuries do we pick up as a club? It's beyond a joke and the training regimen clearly isn't conducive to playing full seasons.
Just can't get a squad together, can we?

Hopefully we don't miss him much now Akanji and Stones are back.
Here's hoping Johnny can stay fit for over 45 mins.

BBC opened a have your say on this in order to allow the usual '115' cunts to smear us.

This is just one of the comments: "Corruption from their dictator owners? Sounds likely."

Moderators on the BBC are all rag wankers. I reported it and they replied saying it doesn't break the house rules!

How shit is our medical and physio department?
I’d imagine they are among the best in the business. We’re experiencing a vicious cycle where unfit players have to play, because there’s little option, then we get more injuries and the cycle continues. The only way to really break that is for the season to end, or to play entirely academy players whilst the rest have a break. That isn’t the medical team’s fault. Without their efforts the situation would be much worse.

Yet we are the bad boys for our alledged glutonous spending and here we have Chelsea who in my opinion have the correct model. 2 fucking squads in reality. Moving forward the number of games we play as a club we simply cannot continue without significant investment in January.amd.summer.
Chelsea can make 8 maybe 9 changes every week and it is clearly starting to pay dividends.

Something is not right when all of the centre halves keep getting injurys .
It should be one of the easiest positions in a team .
But at city they constantly run around interchanging in different positions,
Not like old fashioned defending win the ball give it to your playmaker midfield players & let them use the ball creatively .

It's the curse of the fucking 'PIVET', I tell you!

Personally I hope pep blows the transfer window apart. Buy whatever the fuck we want, pay what we want, get who we want.

Might as well match the headlines. Might as well boil some piss properly.

Start with rashford, hmm not sure about that.
