Didn't Pep say in an interview recently he wont manage another team as he couldn't go to a new team and start all over again, well, thats exactly what hes gonna have to do here so hopefully he finds the energy. Were kind of in a bit of limbo because this rebuild is going to take more than 2 years

That's his friend explaining the problems..

And listen to the part @ 20:10 (and be prepared from a lump in your throat)

Ok.. but just listen.. this is not someone who has an agenda against Pep like the 200 million you read/ hear on TV.

Explains why he left Barca which many have theorized but never knew but why it might be different @ City!

Stefan Ortega on Pep Guardiola: "He doesn't like losing, but he is very willing to find a solution. Nobody can tell me that the coach who previously dominated all of England is suddenly too bad.
"Perhaps he's looking for a solution a little more obsessively. He's still close to being perfect all the time. I find him quite positive. He's really good to us. Also the charisma he has and support he gives us..."
Stefan Ortega on ManCity's ongoing run of poor form: "If you get through this as a team and a club and pick yourself up as a team - also for yourself personally - it might even be worth a little more in the end than another title..."

O like Ortega's mentality

Maybe it's time to have a conversation about how he's handled youngsters at the club the last year.

Simpson Pusey - thrown out against sporting with the most in form striker in the world for his debut, then thrown out against Brighton, and then never seen again

Bobb - scores winner against Newcastle at saint James park in the final minute with a brilliant individual skill, basically doesn't get a single appearance till the end of the season

Rico Lewis - played in about 10 different roles that he cannot execute, gets left to be blamed for being inevitably out of position until his confidence is totally shut

Micah Hamilton - scores and gets motm on his debut, doesn't get a single minute after that and shipped to boro

Cole Palmer - one of the world's best talents doesn't get a chance in his natural position, played on the left wing (?) and chooses to leave for peanuts, now we're vying for a player in his position

McAtee - after 2 successful loan spells gets brought back and doesn't even get a single chance to show what he's got even during a big injury crisis when everyone is playing like shit

Not even mentioning the likes of delap, lavia and Morgan Rogers who didn't get a chance and are now flureshing

Yes, you can say these players didn't show enough in city colours to impress, but it's also a managers job to set them up for success, to have a career path for them to succeed at city, and he inevitably cannot get the best out for them. That's a point he needs to improve on.

There has definitely been an opportunity to add more youth to the first team this year with a clear narrative as to why we may have to change our expectations in terms of silverware, therefore removing some of the pressure on the team..
