If the rot continues what happens ?

Shocked at the general apathy today, and really starting to wonder if it’s tiredness or Pep has finally lost some of those in the dressing room. If he has, then I think he’s gone in summer if not before.

I was gung ho about Pep tearing things up and rebuilding this week, but after watching that and seeing absolutely no improvement whatsoever, no idea what to think anymore.

I will say that when it comes, the Pep decision will be one that Pep makes himself, as it should be. Definitely see it looming now tho.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but that's exactly what he should have done. That was his zenith; the moment he became the best manager the English game has seen. The necessary rebuild is gargantuan, and I wonder whether he has the energy for it; his post-match comments hardly assuaged my fears.

Sometimes new ideas are what's needed.

This is not a normal slump. The team is unrecognisable at the moment and it's becoming consistent. The upturn in form, if it arrives, will not be as quick to return as the collapse we're seeing atm. There's a real slog ahead just to turn stem this slide.

He signed his contract two months into the team struggling , he has also rebuilt the team four or five times , he is going nowhere

Total crap. Relegation fodder. We couldn't beat an egg with a whisk at this point. I love you Pep, but it's clear you don't know how to get out of this anymore.

Ffs.

Go to bed.

I don't think our owners would sack pep.
But what they have to be careful of is pep has always said if he can see the hunger in the players he will carry on. At the minute are the players hungry enough?
Would it be a massive shock if pep decides to call it a day?
IMO I think the players have got no legs left to do what pep wants. But it can look like they have given up

If this is a season to write off somewhat then we really need to make sure the second half of it is one of ‘transition’ rather than having a torrid season and then spending the following one attempting to blood in a load of new signings whilst a load of the old guard move on.

This could be closer to the truth than some may think. What if Peps desire is there but some of the players isn't. The problem is would those players, especially at the age some are, respond to another manager. For me if Peps up for it, clear out those who are "done" and go again.

Surely he would’ve seen that before he signed on again? They don’t suddenly show no desire since, there is something else going on behind the scenes no one knows about im sure of it, the capitulation is off the scale, it can’t all be injuries and tiredness, Christ we wee cruising after 8 games albeit getting over the line in some but I put that down to what we had to do sometimes, if Pep thought they weren’t with him he wouldn’t have extended, something must’ve happened in between we aren’t privy too.
