PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Even if we get relegated, we will come back. It might take a few seasons to reach the top again. Juventus in 2006 is a good example—after they returned to Serie A and built a new top team, they went on to win the Scudetto 11 times in a row. In the long run, the worst thing that could happen to our rivals is if we go down.

Funnily enough, we’re now in a similar situation to the season before Pep arrived. We have a squad with an average age that’s way too high, and due to the legal process and constantly shifting regulations, we’ve struggled to recruit. It’s 2015/16 all over again, except this time we don’t have a KDB, Aguero, or Fernandinho to save us.
It's amazing how many of our fans think a few bad results mean our seat at the top table is over.
Embarrassing how little resilience some fans display.

But Juventus they were the top dog running the football over there

We all know Manchester City is not a powerhouse club in the Premier League and has little say in the rules and changes made., We also know United are the main power in the Premier League and don't want us building a history better than theirs,

100% if we are found guilty it will finish Manchester City and Sheik Mansour owning the club, they don't just want punishment us, but they want to finish us and make us that little old city again.

Forget the investment and infrastructure or shareholdings because they will be worthless if found guilty
The scariest thing is it could all end overnight and everything would be a major problem: Manchester City would be left penniless and all the money gone.

Yes the stadium will be finished and over 60.000 capacity, but we would never fill it in the championship and the corporate and hospitality would struggle and it would have to be closed because of the cost of running it on match days.

A Guilty Verdict would be a life sentence
C'mon mate... if the shit really hit the fan it would get political and it would never end like this

The saddest thing for me is the first time in my lifetime there is lack of individuals with real Manchester City connections. I get football clubs are businesses, but I'm bored of hearing about CFG. Maybe part of our problem is the finances and resources of the group are spread to thin. I'd love owners whose sole focus is on our club not other clubs who have no link to Manchester. For me our owners global ambitions have been put ahead of heritage of our club. Fans who have supported the club for a long time have been put to the back of the queue. The club has become a mirror image of everything I hated United and Liverpool for. If we are found guilty I suspect the Premier League and its member clubs will be pushing for changes in our ownership. The club is at a crossroads. They need to make sure they don't lose a connection with us so called legacy fans. Peoples patients was being tested by the way we are treated by the club even before the poor run started...
There are a few ex City players who could serve on the board. They would improve matters. Where are board meetings held? I’m guessing AbuDhabi. Why not Manchester?

They should've been on the terraces.

Unbridled joy, tears of joy & relief.

Laughter.

Stultification.

Trance.

Hugs.
I was on the first row on the side, Jack came over to where we were stood after the game as his sister was a few rows behind, he looked in complete shock, no smiles, nothing, just what looked like disbelief. I got to hug him!

CFG own half of the coop live. It is true that we can’t count any of its revenue in our figures hence the new development.
Nope. That’s CFG unless you have a source. Is it shown in our accounts?

It is a joint venture between City Football Group - the holding group which manages football clubs including Manchester City, under the majority ownership of Sheikh Mansour's Abu Dhabi United Group - and Oak View Group (OVG). Each party has 7,865 shares in Co-op Live's holding company.

OVG is behind a range of entertainment venues in the US. The next largest shareholder is Harry Styles' Erekine Records, whose only other director is Emma Spring.

They could do anything they like because this would be a major footballing crime the likes nothing before
The Premier League would have to obey to United and Liverpool and they would want maximum damages

its only in the past couple of months that I have had nightmares about what all this could do to our club.
How could the ownership of the club still be in charge? or should I say would the fans still want them here because we have been lied to,

Also if we are found guilty and forget any appeal, We would be found guilty and that is good enough for the rest of the Premier League job done,
Good job we won’t be found guilty then isn’t it.

Now stop panicking. Irrefutable evidence.
In my club I trust.

Exactly. You know our standing when the MSM/Sky Sports still talk about our dilemma with glee yes but with a sense of shock, and fear that we might just click and win the rest of our games (we won't).

The bookies despite how shit we have been make us favourites in the majority of games (Liverpool was the first time we weren't for a fuck of a long time). If that's not top table then I don't what is.

Despite Ancoats' doom scenario, I'm pretty confident that we will be gorging ourselves on that top table for a long time.

I’ve literally just said that.

Fans need to be careful of not becoming and/or acting 'entitled'

Let's remain true CITY in our outlook, support and comments, and - FFS - totally trust in the owner and the management he has put in place.

I am always gobsmacked when I think of the role that Khaldoon plays at CITY.

A man that has such power, influence and responsibilities - yet spends so much of his time and energy on a football club - which in the scheme of things must be one of the smaller investments that the Sheik has made

Speaks volumes of the commitment of our owner and his team

We fans should be 100% behind them - in every situation and no matter what the outcome of the charges case.

Even if we are found to have done something 'deemed to be wrong' - we fans should all remember that it would have been our management seeking to deal with the bollocks rules and regulations that were specifically brought in to stymie CITY.

Remember UEFA changing the fucking rules!!!!

And just consider - which other club is getting the 'scrutiny' that CITY are getting.

FFS it is a targeted and malicious witch hunt - and any lack of support from the fans for our owners and management just plays into the hands of the cunts behind all this

City don’t have any investment into Co-op Live, nor any recompense when they sell beer to our fans on matchday.
I thought CFG were 50 per cent owners with Silver Lake so money goes to CFG. City will get any money from joint music/football corporate deals as well.

I don't know why, but its just got the feel that something big is going to happen, I don't know why because I am always in the this is all bollocks and we have been cleared by CAS on all of the charges,

But I will always be a Blue and we will be here to pick up the mess and back us in any League
Agreed.

We got back to Nevizade Street at 5:45. Daylight was breaking but the party was just starting. It will live with me until the day I die
I was lucky and used the Metro rather than the buses - I got back hours before you!!

People kept arriving and talking about how utter shit the bus option was
