Everton (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I'd honestly drop halland for a bit he's been shit for most of the season. And that penalty summed his season up.. limp ... saying that the majority of the team were slow, careless... inwas hoping for a gradual decline to our old selves not something that gives me whiplash

When you're playing the exact same way you started a run of 1 win in 13, it's hard to think anything will change.

I'm sure Pep will manage to blame the fans again though.
agreed can’t get excited about the level of football we are seeing we don’t counter we don’t attack we’re not aggressive so hence why the crowd is passive as it follows the football we’re watching

Utter utter shit.
We only scored because it took a huge deflection and created absolutely fuck all again and even when given a gift ie the penalty, it summed up Haalands game with the awful miss and lazy movement to be caught offside.
They were hungrier and far more determined than us.
Unless he starts putting one of 2 kids in for their energy and hunger, nothing will change and we will languish atound mid table.
You honestly cannot see where a win is going to come from. We have the worst set of wingers in the PL who offer nothing but wrong choices, a lazy striker and the rest of the senior players are hiding.
Do nothing in January and its mid table at best for this old, weak, squad.

First one in a while that I don't think is on Pep. Picked a side decent enough to win with limited options on the bench, had enough chances even if we didn't play that well. Savinho should have had an assist, same with Foden. The penalty miss seemed to deflate the team

Releived to escape with a point in injury time. Everton clean through a couple of times thankfully messed up a 4 v 1 on edge of penalty area. Where was the City defence?

You know I was worried when there was 6 minutes of added of time, I was hoping for a quick 3 minutes to get it over with because there was more chance of Everton scoring the winner on a counter than us scoring, and a better team than Everton would've definitely murdered us on the counter today especially that 4 on 2 at the end.

Yes that's what it has come too, hoping for a draw at home against a Sean Dyche team, it was the same old shit attacking wise made worse by Haaland missing a pen as well, and it will probably be the same old shit against Leicester and the following game and the following game... except those teams might be better than Everton.

This rot won't be ending anytime soon I'm afraid.

At least we didn’t lose!
Don’t agree with the hysteria around getting rid of pep, this he deserves patience. More so that some of these burnt out shadow of professional footballers.

As an aside and to talk about something other than the usual merry-go-round of shit and anger. If you could have any 1 player from city history back to inject something in the team who would you have?
I’m thinking tevez, or kompany!
