Talking number plates I used to have a 1 , followed by my initials plate on my scooter. When the garage made the plate up for me and put it on the scooter the 1 had a tiny crack in it and I could see the yellow background behind it very close up. I never did like it after that on the basis, I should have complained at the time and asked them to do it again. I ended up flogging it.

Talking of names, my granddaughter had three changes of surname before she was even 18-months old.
My son's partner registered the birth using just her own surname so, Hollie May HERsurname. When my son complained it was changed by deed poll to Hollie May HERsurname-SONsurname. The couple had already separated, soon she remarried and took his name so now it became Hollie May SONsurname-NEWsurname.

I have been to Llandudno today and there were plenty of them out. They are only beaten by those not bothering with any lights at all.
