Individual Liverpool fan, audible, cheering inside the ground somewhere, when the first VAR decision went Liverpool’s way. The second VAR decision ruled out the goal.

What the fuck are Amazon Prime up to?

Be nice if the "champions again" song was fucked off, we've been on the slide ever since it started, it's arrogant as fuck and reminds me of when the rags started with the "we're man united well done what we want" they have also been shite ever since
Been singing it for 3 years mate, might be the last season for a few years until we can sing it again, it's not arrogant, it's celebrating a rare thing in winning back to back titles, never mind 4 in a row. Give it a go at the next game, you might like it.

They have mics in front of the kop to capture the pre match karaoke song

They haven’t but booing the team off at the final whistle seems to be your way to get us out of this current slump so carry on
But I didn't boo them off at the final whistle did I? So I can't carry on as I didn't boo in the first place. Not sure where I said I booed them or supported those who did.

FFS!

You can’t even sing about being champions anymore.

What about 4 in a row, you’ve never done that?

Should we stop singing that as well?

Is there any other chants celebrating our trophy successes you don’t want the fans to sing?
We need to be able to show our appreciation as a fan base. The things this club has achieved should be sung about.

I'm either going deaf or we're overplaying the post match booing. I only heard a brief spell of booing, perhaps three or four seconds, then a mixture of half-heated applause and silence. There was a fair bit of grumbling going back to the car but that's to be expected after dropping even more points.
It wasn’t that bad. This was also just after we had almost conceded and probably should have done given it was 4 on 2 and then De Bruyne spraying the ball straight into touch with the last kick of the game.

We're as likely to sing about other clubs (particularly the rags) never winning four in a row as we are to celebrate our unique achievement. I don't recall any chants about 100 points/centurions, or winning the domestic treble or PL/CL/FAC treble.
I suppose "The best team in the land and all the world" might cover the above, but we need more chants celebrating our achievements over the past 15 years, and some of the brilliant players that have made it possible.

It's turgid and has been for a while. As the seasons go by I find less and less familiar faces. I stood next to a lad today who was gazing down into his phone for the first half. There are people around me who just don't seem to care. All this talk of 4 in a row and yet there's a general malaise around the stadium as if we've been mid table for years.
And the boos at the end, What an over reaction that was. We are all over the place as a club and a fan base at the moment.

I’m quite lucky where I sit, there’s been the same faces going for quite some time now so it’s not everywhere.

That said Pep’s style doesn’t help our atmosphere, it never has with all the patient approach play, not that I’m complaining about the trophies it has resulted in but fans find it hard to drive the team on after the tenth or eleventh pass back to the defence.

Today (yesterday) though wasn’t helped by the early kickoff on a day with limited public transport, a few near me were late in the ground, plus many others probably were still recovering from Christmas Day. I live within ten miles but had to leave at 9.30 in order to allow time for food then just enough time for two pints. Then it’s 5pm by the time I got home as I walk the last 2 miles. Bonkers that and it’s probably the same for lots of fans, hence why they just drive, don’t drink and we end up with quieter support.

The atmosphere is matching the corporate transformation of the club. Back in the days when we were in free fall all we had to keep us going was the atmosphere, which to be fair, could be very hostile towards the team. Visiting teams knew how quickly we would turn on them. In fact we were renown for turning on the team quickly if things weren't going our way. However when we got behind them it was a great atmosphere. The Kippax had its corner next to the away fans, where you stood with all your mates. Even when we went all seater, with 4 different stands, the North Stand (again next to the away fans) became the vocal centre. We were awful as a team for the most part, but we were loud. These days there are fans who have never known a bad City team, visiting tourists, and people gawping at their phones.

Apparently the commentary team on Amazon was having a constant dig at empty seats if they did some research they would understand that some fans can’t afford ticket prices when they are £70 to £80 pounds near Christmas time
Well at least Amazon give you the option of turning off the commentary and just listening to the stadium noise. Should be compulsory for all broadcasters to give us that option

That's a bit of a myth in my opinion. City's premier league support is largely season tickets and their friends and families. Of course people use mobiles. That's just the modern world. If that bugs you, then you are going to be very unhappy. What corporate transformation is there of MCFC? There are many more non-corporates going now than there were in the 80's and 90's. The noisiest section in the Kippax was next to the away fans, but that wasn't in the corner.
