So when City 'do it' its out of character, but when Arsenal 'do it' its representative of the club.

Sounds ridiculous to be honest.
Cmon mate how often do you see us pull a stunt like that? I’m struggling to remember any other incident.
Your lot are coached to do it.
Anyway you better get your shit together if you want to stop the dippers.

It’s Liverpool’s to choke on, but from here, it really would be a choke.

Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea
City

Keep the faith!
That's how i have it ( whether we will get 4th is the only issue on your list), Liverpool look better than the rest & have the best player in the PL this season in Salah

I don't want Liverpool running away with it and effectively winning the title before May.

If they manage to build up a big enough points lead it will allow them the luxury of prioritizing cup games such as tough semi-final opponents.

Not.A.Chance.

Trent’s going to RM, but Salah & VVD will stay. Slot is too competent, and has too big of a First XI squad to fuck it up from here.

Arsenal are at least 2 players short. They need a 20+ goal striker and they’re 1 defender light…maybe even a Partey replacement, too.

Remember, this is Liverpool, who broke the rule about 'top at xmas'.

Liverpool were top at half way last year, and at once stage were 8pts clear of City. They ended up 9 points off the top.

In 20/21 they were top at Xmas, 8 pts clear of City. By mid-March they were a ridiculous 28 pts below us in 8th place. That's got to be the biggest collapse in Premier League history, yet I've seen so many quotes recently about how Klopp never had a bad run, and how amazingly he did that season.

It's astonishing that Arsenal are the ones with the rep for being chokers.

Id usually say I want Arsenal to win but if they do they will plaster 'Stay humble eh' all over with pics of Jesus holding the Premier league trophy

‘Istree, mate.

This Liverpool squad, under Slot, isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. They are in their prime and have a deep enough squad to absorb a lot.

Same squad as last year, and they were top in April, with just 8 games to go, but ended up 9 off the top. These players have had some success, but they also know more about how to lose a lead than any other group in the division.

Time will tell. Slot isn’t flogging them with the Gegenpress and is using his subs very intelligently.

I don't trust Arsenal to challenge them proper. This is very much in Liverpool's favour.

Saka being out is a big loss, and it's definitely Liverpool as favourites, but the lead they have has been overturned numerous times in the last decade or so.

Done and dusted I'd suggest. They're not throwing that lead away. Even if they lose a few games, not one of the chasing pack has it in them to do the stuff we've done in the past - win 9 out of 10 games to close the gap.

Within 12 points and we play Liverpool at home. Think we have the slimmest chance supposing we invest in January. Hopefully Forest can do us a favour. Maybe I’m being delusional to think there’s still a tiny chance. Performances haven’t been there but if we get back to anywhere near our level we are the strongest side no doubt about it. Oscar Bobb coming back too.

You’re not delusional. It’s called positivity and being optimistic. I’m right there.

With you all the way, I said before Leicester match we win all remaining 20 games and we win it on GD or somert, proper boil piss and we be ruining football all over again, if anyone can it’s us

The fixture list in February is brutal but never mind the points, the mental impact on the rest of the league if (and I appreciate it's a mighty if) we win all of those games would be massive.

Us getting the right results against PSG and Club Brugge to progress in the Champions League would give us a lift before then too. You could argue that us going out in this league phase of Champions League and avoiding the extra 2 play-offs games might be better from a squad/fitness point of view but I don't know. Confidence breeds confidence and all that.

We have to invest in January. I’m looking at Liverpool’s next 2 both potential banana skins. They’ve also been very lucky to stay injury free. Trent situation lingering on. Either way if it doesn’t happen this season, I don’t doubt we are back next year but the hope is still there.

We'd be walking this league if Rodri hadn't got injured

The bin dippers now can't drop more than 3 points over the rest of the season if they are gonna be centurions. Our proud record is looking safe for another year
100 Points was never on for them once they lost to Forest in the 4th day, we didn't lose until the second half of the season when we were centurions, the only time our record was in danger was when they won the league in the covid season, they missed out by a point.
