Dani Olmo

Breaking news that Laporta has signed a €100m sponsorship and that Olmo and Pau Victor will be registered.
Was that not the deal with Nike in November - which hasn’t been enough to get them over the line?
Or is it a new deal done after their appeal to register Olmo failed

Isn’t it amazing they get to breaking point then right when they need it, a new deal comes to fruition?

Where was this deal in, say, October…?
Sat on it for the 'last minute Hero' PR angle.

They will do a slime ball loan deal with one of the SSL teams. Loan fee will be £100 million for Olmo and that will cover the money they need.

Renewed Nike deal?
According to the Guardian

FC Barcelona have reportedly closed a last-minute €100m deal to sell VIP boxes at the newly renovated Camp Nou to Middle Eastern investors. The club are hopeful the sale will allow them to meet financial fair play rules and finally extend Dani Olmo’s registration.

With the deadline for registration just three days away and facing the prospect of Olmo leaving as a free agent just six months after joining on a €55m (£45.6m) transfer, the club president Joan Laporta exercised a sale option on Saturday which the club believe will see the first payment made before 31 December.

Not sure about this one.

Turned us down for Barca.

Pep wants players for the next 2/3 seasons not the next 6 months.

Txiki will go out in a blaze of glory this window.

Makes sense they always get out of it somehow.

Also I’m glad, Olmo is great but I don’t think what we are looking for.

He didn’t turn us down, it was repeatedly stressed by well reputed sources that City were never in for him.

Imagine the Guardian's reaction if we did that
