What is gained here by leaving Kev on?

We dont need a goal.

We can rest him and give deserved energy to young legs in McAtee on RW and shift Foden to the middle.

The logic makes no sense other than he is scared to do it.

Looks like the captain hierarchy has changed. Noticed it, last game that Walker did not get the armband when he came on and De Bruyne was on the pitch.

Always thought it was strange seeing a captain be subbed on, and then take the armband. If you're captain for that match, you're captain for that match. Unless you're subbed off, of course, 'cause then you have no choice.

Walker is completely done. It's so obvious yet he continues to get used.

Never been the best positionally or general awareness, but always had recovery pace in abundance which made him a huge asset for years and years.

With the legs gone, he's ridiculously poor. Any RB from the academy would surely offer more than he is by this point.

Can almost repeat that for Ilkay and potentially one or two others sadly but not to the extent of Walker.
