Looking better going forward...Savihno very good and I like the way he looked when he came more central as well...Foden and Bernardo both excellent and Haaland as well as his goals actually put himself about a bit today as well

Defensively from the front and through midfield we were awful...the press was awful and various players still getting ran past and turned in midfield so so easy...some not even making an attempt to track back and some just too slow or unable ....Kovacic and Foden at least tried but that was it (less said about Gundogan when he came on the better!!!)

Gvadiol looked better but his lack of awareness at times is frightening..whether its players running into space behind him when the ball is on the opposite side.of the pitch making the huge 40 yd switch of play easy to the man getting him infront of him for the goal so easily. Walker either cant be bothered or his head has completely gone. He is struggling to do the simple things right at present.

good result but huge improvement needed ...same issues are still clearly there

The performances today and against Leicester weren't really any different to the previous 15 games. Forest is the only game where we have looked like a proper team.

If you think playing like this against Brentford, Ipswich or Chelsea coming up is going to get us any wins then i wish i was as naive as you.

Bloody hell im all over the place. Happy with 4-1 after what we’ve come through, but Christ that was a hard watch. Some better moments when we actually looked like we wanted to play the progressive football of the past few seasons, but way too many brain farts all over the pitch. Akanji… why do we try to build from him when he clearly doesn’t have the skill set? So many individual weaknesses all over. Although saying that, 2 or 3 energetic incomings could kick start our season. Flickering embers from Phil, Bernie, Kev. Kova had a decent game, and Erl will score with the service. Sav is going to be a monster
Not sure wether to be happy or still depressed so I’ll have another beer
 
Shout out to the FOC in 219 who spent the entire game shouting abuse to our entire team even when we were winning 4-0.

Felt like throwing a mug of bovril over the miserable old fossil.
 
Great result and really pleased to see Savinho continue to shine once again. However, our midfield is still far too easily breached and if we have any desires for Top 4 this season we need to bring in a decent DM in Jan to plug the open gaps that we offer centrally.
