Very ropy 4-1 tbh. Not too bothered though after the poor run we’ve been on. Thought Phil, the big man & Savio were really good. KDB & Bernardo quietly good too. The same issues are still there unfortunately. Kova as DM is asking for a tanking against a decent side.

A great result well done city but we seem to sleepwalk through a game at the back.I would replace Walke, akanji and gvardiol are having a drop off in form. A new good centre half is what I would buy.
It shows we are still good going forward when we get good service,so all being well hopefully we can get top 4

I did not care about the performances that will come in time, The Result was great and another 3 points were banked
it's always hard to pick holes and point fingers with this City team and Pep, They have fully given us 10 years of glory that no other clubs have ever produced in England,

Yes there are cracks and missing players and form is out of the window, but the results are slowly coming back, We have just passed the halfway mark in the league and the truth is it could have been a lot worse, United and Spurs for instance both beat us but are 10 and 12 points better than them.

There were plenty of times in that terrible run, where we actually played better than in the last two games. Anyone who thinks we have turned a corner, is likely to get a major shock in the coming weeks.

No one thinks that but we're glad we've got back to back wins and to see us scoring well again.

Lots of positive stuff today. Players starting to believe again. Fitness improving, although we are still having to manage players minutes. 90 mins of good work from an improved KDB and Phil.
Magic from Savinho, impressive again, the end product being everything.
Brilliant finish from the big lad..
Onwards and upwards.. Top 4 would be amazing this season..

True, we actually managed some really decent performances in the opening 30 minutes of some matches and then collapsed later on. Currently there is just nothing good to take from our performance, we create next to nothing and concede chances for fun, oh and our set pieces are truly horrific.

I really fear what Brentford might do to us, they are essentially a better Spurs who already hammered us.

But are you cool and confident about our chances v Salford City ?

Crazy the drop off when Pep brings him mates on, even at 4 up it was painful to watch

Seems he is surrounded by yes men and no one left to stand up to him and tell him when he is wrong, a good number 2 would do that

I think there are plenty on here who do think that. They can’t see past the scoreline.

I do agree that it’s great to be back to winning ways.

I mean, it was good but also not so good? Our midfield doesn't exist but Savio shows that the new guard can create the chances we need. Had a brilliant game. Haaland best striker on the planet when we actually give him something to feedback of.
Thought Rico had a good game, and he always battles. Foden put himself about and seemed to grow a bit in confidence through it

Less said about the old guard plus Kovacic the better. But at least De Bruyne and Bernardo has theit moments, but they make us too easy to play through.

I wish Pep now just let the youth bring us forward, the difference is night and day when they bring their energy and intensity to the table.

But all in all, a lot better at times

Hes spot on. He craves total control and we had about 15 minutes second half until the subs where we had it.

We are still a way off but at least we’re scoring again.
