West Ham 2024/25

So that is 2 high performance cars that he has crashed.
His insurance premium must be through the roof.
I would imagine it's in the 10s of thousands of pounds per annum.
I used to run a Ford Rental hire department about 15-20 years ago,and the insurance company we used would not cover professional sportsmen ,as they were deemed to be too high a risk.
I'm going purely off one of the articles posted earlier in this thread. It said he wrote off a 200k Lamborghini hurican after crashing it into the front garden of a house whilst wearing a snowman outfit a few christmas's back doing what he says was 30-35mph in a 30 zone. He then also mentioned he was quoted 20k to get insurance on his next car after that crash or 10k on a more modest car and he said he'd rather pay 20k.

He comes across as a really nice bloke. But if that last sentence is true, he's not the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer.

The wreckage looks shocking. Apparently he's had leg surgery. I wish him a speedy recovery. He's had a decent career but as it's probably season over now, it remains to be seen whether we'll see him ever kick a ball again - he's 35 next birthday.

Shattered femur apparently, that'll be a bugger to recover from. Miraculous given the state of the car, real second chance at life stuff

Also if the reports are true that it took 45 minutes to get him out of the car then all sorts of problems with the bone and tissue with a lack of blood flow

Even Antonio in a wheelchair would perform better than our 20+ mill strikers we’ve wasted over the years - it’s amazing how we always fall back with him up front because he’s actually a really good forward, beast in the air, can bully defences at times, direct - what lets him down is his touch at times and his finishing.
Many thought he was a finished a few seasons ago but he just kept putting in the performances and work rate - I really love the guy and for 7 mill he is one of the best signings we’ve ever had for sure. Such a shame this has happened at the tail end of his career but feel he will still play a big part for our club much like Noble, C.Cole , Nolan etc

If he's shattered his femur, as mentioned above.....he won't ever kick a ball again, at his age, he'd find it hard to play at any level, even if he'd 'just' broken it.

Jim White is an absolute tosser. The drunk pisscan was being hysterical and kept repeating "And Antonio won't find out FOR ANOTHER YEAR AS TO WHETHER HE WILL PLAY FOOTBALL AGAIN!".

The lad is probably relieved to be alive, you moron.

Its on the BBC Website that Antonio has been released from hospital today.
The whole West Ham team recently wore shirts with his name on them before a recent PL game.
And all those shirts have been auctioned off and raised approximately £60,000 , which has been donated to the NHS and air ambulance charities to help pay towards the cost of his medical treatment and expenses.
Well done West Ham.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the best London football team by a country mile.

Yep.
Good luck to him.
And west ham.
I don't like many teams.
Well any apart from Sheff u cos a few of my mates watch them home and away.
And west ham.
Which is wierd as my blade mates hate west ham after tevez etc.

Bowen out for a while.

We really are screwed.

A slow and ponderous midfield, very dodgy defence. Antonio out all season and new signings all been flops.

Disaster season.

Crowd will turn on Lop very soon as can’t see how we’re going to get results.

Expecting a 5-0 win for City despite how out of shape you guys are.

My grandad was Spanish and didn't have a great command of English but one of his few English phrases that I loved applies to West Ham and used to apply to us ..."the devil, he always shits in the same place"
