Isak makes things look very easy. That’s what I think shows how good he is. He’s a very graceful player.

brian mbuemo has as many goals as isaak, dont get me wrong hes a good striker but hes just on a hot streak
Do you think he’s as good as Isak? Haaland will score more goals than Brazilian Ronaldo.Do you think he’s a better striker?

i think mbuemo is massively underrated because he plays for brentford and newcastle

He’s better at some things and worse at others.

It’s only natural as they play different positions.

If Mbuemo classes as a striker, then Salah will need to enter the conversation!

He’s a level above those 2 and he is a cracking player.

However, not having him is not our issue and until playing 2 strikers comes back in vogue, we’re never going to get someone as good as him whilst we have Haaland.
You could argue that Isak is above Havertz/Jesus on current form, but nothing more. He's having a good season, can't argue with that. But a tier exists between the top strikers and the likes of Isak, Havertz, Jesus, and Alvarez.

Havertz has 126 G/A in last 7 seasons, Isak has 110 G/A. Both playing in similar level situations, albeit Havertz spent more time deeper than Isak. Yes Isak played a few less matches, but as we know at Man City, availability is the best ability right now.

If we sign Marmoush, that's just as similar as you can get to Isak, so your second point is false.

You could argue but you’d be wrong. He’s clearly a level or 2 above those as a striker hence so many raving about him

Isak being Havertz/Jesus level has to be the worst statement I’ve seen this year. Isak is far better just often injured and played for weaker teams. Just look at the type of goals Isak scored compared to Havertz and Jesus and you will see the difference between them. Isak is a current top 5 striker. He can choose his next club if he leaves while Jesus struggles to even score goals on the regular or at all.

I said Isak was closer to Havertz and Jesus than he is Haaland and Kane. That is fact. He is clearly a cut below. Look at the goals he scores comapred to Havertz? Very similar mate...

And Jesus is not playing in a team that allows him to play his best role, so obviously it looks as if he's a cut below. Jesus at Newcastle would look quite similar to Isak mate.

And Real Sociedad and Newcastle aren't much different than Leverkusen, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Lol come on. He's a good striker but this is flat out wrong. Sometimes a striker doesn't have to do it all?

He's closer to a Havertz/Jesus than he is a Haaland.
Isak has scored more goals than Havertz and Jesus combined during the last two seasons. And during these two seasons Haaland is scoring a non penalty goal every 125 minute with Isak at 130. And Isak is asked to do a lot in Newcastle. He goes out wide sometimes, he comes deep to link and play as a false 9, all while still having the same duties as Haaland when Newcastle arrives in the box. Haaland is still in the right team the by far best goal scorer in the world, but right now Isak is a better football player and offer his team more ways to create chances than Haaland does. Of course a striker doesn't have to do it all but can't be that bad being able do if you still score loads of goals?

So when does this hot streak end? Its been going on for 1,5 season and his xg numbers are actually worse this season compared to last. But his all round game has taken another step and hes absolutely carrying Newcastle offensivly atm.

No hes not. Gordon is doing just as much. Not as many goals obviously but he's just as involved

In his entire career, he has had 1 season where he has scored more than 20 league goals which was last season, in his first 10 appearances this season he had 1 goal, he is a very good player no doubt, but dont get giddy

I appreciate he is very much in vogue ATM and you have some stats to back up your point.

My view is different on the way he plays, he seems to have the ability to glide passed players at time (I won’t say Henry, as he is nowhere near that) but when I watch him play he is a joy to watch.

On the second point, I was referring to where he is now @ Newcastle, more than the actual player. He’d have probably jumped at the chance at Sociedad.

If Omar is as good that’s a HUGE shout and would be fantastic for us!
