Weird timing.

He was out of contract at the end of this season anyway so timing is no big issue to me. I think they'll stick with Baines and Coleman until the season ends.

I think Everton will regret sacking Dyche.

His juice had gone when relegated with Burnley. Don't think of him very much as a manager, but seeing what he did with Burnley and for how long he had kept them in the PL, credit where credit is due. He might be just another one of English managers to fall down the rabbit hole after this.

Just read the statement they put out to announce it. Took about 5 seconds. It's brief to the point of brutal. No 'we thank him for his efforts' or wishing him well in his future career. Wonder if something more has gone on behind the scenes.
