Did anyone see the piece today on bbc news about the FA Cup game Everton v Peterborough,Ashley young up against his son was a nice enough piece,yet strangely showed two snippets of his career and guess which team those were of,the rags with the second one him scoring a goal,surely they could have used an Everton or Villa or Watford goal,unless of course he hasn’t scored for any of those teams which we know isn’t the case,anything to shore horn the rags into a nice piece..

Yet another reminder that for most of its history all the way up until the 2000s, Liverpool were owned and operated by Tory donors and family members of a Tory MP. Manchester also had a comparatively large (if not bigger) Irish population.
Everything about the club and its history is completely fraudulent.

? Indeed but I do know I consider him to be a cake short of a bakers dozen - am talking his madness a la just stop oil type antics. No issues with him being neuro divergent, just object to being preached to by a righteous holier than thou save the planet extremist.

Very nice to me and my mate when we were 14/15 where we spoke to him regularly as we went to watch training at the Rugby League team we followed. He always turned up in a flashy Ford Capri, always very pleasant and lingered near us when he signed autographs. Tbh it was the 70s and we never thought anything of it, just made up a local 'celeb' had taken time to speak with us. Different times.

Absolutely revolting in every aspect and the fact his family and ruddy daughter were supposedly complicit in this beggars belief to any right minded person.

He’s a really good/nice guy I can promise you - whilst trying not to sound like a Billy big bollox “I know all the celebs me” twat. He’s autistic so can come across as odd and makes him sound like a know it all, but he’s not like that at all. To include him on any list with that bunch of wrong ‘uns is pretty poor taste

I said I wondered why he was on the list as questionable if you read my post.

Fwiw I have over 30 years first hand experience of autism being the mum of a person on the spectrum. I know all about how they can become passionate to the point of obsession about any particular subject that interests them. I just don't agree with his latest japes of pouring oil over himself and telling us all to just stop oil etc. I will make my own mind up. That's why I don't like him.

As I said no idea what he gets up to in personal life, never struck me as anything dodgy about him.

Sorry I wasn’t saying YOU put him on that list. And yeah fair point on the oil pouring thing. I wasn’t aware he had done that - not spoken to him for a while. I’m autistic so am a bit protective of fellow spekkies ;)
P.s he is a good guy though ;))

No offence taken. And well done for being protective, comes as second nature to me. For me CP is a bit loopy just because I'm not into all this save the planet business so it was a throw away comment to say I dislike him rather like I'd say about a Dipper or Rag player.

He has done well out of his interest, I don't watch his shows ( you can probably guess now I'm not into all this nature stuff!) but when I happened to partly catch him on the show where he covered himself in oil I just thought he's loopy. ( BTW I did already know he was ND). X

Seconded on him being a nice guy. I attended one of his talks held at Lincoln Uni. He is really passionate about wildlife and conservation and is a cracking photographer. Like a lot of autistic people, he can a bit full on, but I think that's just his coping mechanism.

I've absolutely no doubt the Rag c*nts at Media City have a huge archive of pro-Rag 'news' stories on the shelf ready to go for when there isn't much going on, or when they need to bury some bad news.
