Going to be a transfer window to remember this one, something very special

If any signings we make can improve us enough to make sure we finish at least top 4 and possibly win another cup then it will be.

Otherwise the three most likely incomings so far are more for future seasons given how young they are.

Can’t say I know much about any of the three prospective signings (Marmoush, Khusanovc and Reis) but in a way that makes it more exciting, as I don't really know what to expect from them. Either way, it's great to see the club being so proactive in the transfer market (and encouraging in terms of the legal case). Just need to get a defensive midfielder lined up and it'll have been one hell of a window for us. I'd be more than happy with Luiz.

I can see the midfielder signing being something totally out of left field now. Been very exciting so far.

All though how quickly we seem to have wrapped up Marmoush and Khusanov after the official brief you just have to think we are way further down the line with Ederson as well

I still think Ederson is the chosen one purely based on Jack Gaughan briefing 3 names early January? Obviously a couple more have now been added but he hasnt shot done the Ederson transfer yet

They would be extremely unusual "panic buys" based on the players positions, ages, prices and the fact that they are all very similar physically. Seems like very in depth scouting to me

In the summer I would like to see one or 2 high quality British players come in as we see the old guard start to move on. Gordon would certainly be on the list if they fail to get CL.

We already have huge young talents, it's a dearth of players in their prime that's killing us.

It's well and good buying high quality young players but it's more important that we address the lack of players in their prime.

We need at least one quality central midfielder aged 25-27.

The good old days and a sign to yank owners would be if we were signing the likes of Guimaraes and Guehi then going full tilt to overtake Liverpool this season.

These young signings, if we get them, may or may not be good or even great in a few years. Or be out on loan in Italy.
