Tbh I don’t really mind him staying there on loan until the summer. He’s only 18 and we literally have Dias, Akanji, Ake, Stones, Gvardiol and Khusanov for centre back. Plus emergency cover in Simpson-Pusey, plus disaster cover in Walker.

Personally rather have him have these 6 months to properly bed in and be ready go next season. It’s likely stones and walker will both be gone by start of next season so having this fella know the system, comfortable with players, surroundings, language etc is invaluable imo

Lewis is one of the best young players in the prem what you on about!.

Is he though? Seriously, he was most certainly elevated by having Rodri covering his shortfalls; that isn’t a barometer as it’s also exposed some seasoned professionals, however, Lewis is a nomad n terms of role, too defensively weak in a back line, and certainly average centrally…. He’ll have a good career as a utility man but at the top end? Not so sure

Not at all the kid is fearless he's playing in what is currently a very poor low on confidence team.But he always shows for the ball and is fearless in his challenges.He maybe needs to strengthen up but I just don't get the hate towards him. Let's judge in a couple of years if he hasn't progressed.
