I find it strange if the deal is happening he is involved in a game this weekend. If he gets injured City won't buy him and move onto the next option. So kinda makes me think this deal might be some way off from getting done or we were told they want even more than what has been quoted by media.

Why not demonstrate your professionalism? Frankfurt pay his wages. He's a footballer and if fit should be available for work. Until he's signed a contract with us he's a Frankfurt player and an important one.

I agree mate . If this was close he wouldn’t be playing Saturday bug I suppose there is still time .

Brinkmanship. Players are very rarely withdrawn unless it's properly done, if the selling club haggles over sell on, payment schedule, blah blah blah they are fucked if the player doesn't play. Being named also doesn't mean he plays. No panic

Dias played for benfica when the deal was practically done too. It’s not uncommon.

Frankfurt are in poor form and are pushing for champs league football. No surprise they want him for this game given how quickly this transfer has moved.
