Salford City (H) | Post Match Thread

Really enjoyed that, great mix of youth and experience from Pep tonight. And we didn’t labour at any point, just kept playing away and were very clinical.

O’Reilly definitely has a bit of the X factor about him.

A few senior players also got a good confidence boost, and the owners of the opposition got the pumping they deserve!

Job done. Kids did well!

It was a game we were expected to win, but I'm seriously proud of our babies. O'Reilly was the pick of the bunch, albeit McAtee scored a hat-trick.

McAtee had a quiet first half & outside of his goals didn't really influence the match much. He's another player with a big 5 months ahead of him. I think it's shit or get off the potty time for him.

Mubama took his debut goal well & put himself about. His passing needs serious attention, but he's young & the goal would've done him the world of good.

My MoTM was Doku. He had a field day tearing the arse out of Salford's defence, & looked like a player with something to prove where the left wing berth is concerned.

Jack didn't stamp his authority as I hoped he would. If he can't do it against Salford, then when can he? He's a player in the spotlight & now under serious pressure to justify his first team inclusion.

We're through to the next round, but in truth, I'm not that arsed about the FA Cup this season. Right now it's all about the PL & CL.

I want slapped arse Giggs; Scholes; Butt faces. Who has some to post?

Blah blah grealish finally scores, but was poor....ignoring his assists etc. Fuck him but I wish the club would make an example of him.
Agreed,I think and it’s not being disrespectful to people with disabilities, but I think he’s slightly Down syndrome or something like that just can’t put my finger on it ..
