No one ever mentions that Giggs (1973) was over 3 years older than Phil Neville (1977) & had been playing first team regularly a year before.

Grossly exaggerated that 6 players coming through the same year from winning the youth cup to the treble & yet Phil Neville & Scholes never played in either of the 2 legs of the 1992 final or the 1999 Champions league final.

The Class of 92 is actually the number of academy players they rinsed, over a fair few years, to get the 6 or 7 players who created the myth.
Oh, has Robbie Savage said he was another legend from the Class of 92 ???

Commentator for the game couldn’t have been more disinterested except for Salford having a couple of chances and his voice rose to a screech. City’s goals were all greeted as if someone had dragged him away from his favourite porno to attend a funeral. I just rewatched the highlights and compared to all the other games and the way they were covered just to see if I’d imagined it, every game was met with so much more enthusiasm, Jesus Christ we had goals galore and kids banging goals on all over the place, if the **** hates us so much he should refuse to fucking cover us.

"Hard work, determination." Are you kidding me? They bought their way into the league. But because it's the family man and his mates it's suddenly romantic. Even to this day these "journalists" suck up to the usual suspects because they want to keep their access.

Struck me watching in the ground that as the second goal went in the viewing figures for the target TV audience would have tanked.

At least the rags in the ground lasted until our first penalty before fucking off.
