And they apparently withheld £150m of the sale price, in order to cover any fines.

Bearing in mind that money was earmarked for the people of Ukraine, due to the sanctions on Abramovitch, it would seem like an extremely good deal for the new owners. If it's under £150m, it costs them effectively nothing, and money that would have gone to Ukraine, goes to the Premier League.

It’s worth remembering that the 'if City are found guilty, they will get relegated' is just an opinion popularized by clickbait media.

Chelsea have some very clever guys running that club!

Problem with us early in our take over when ffp came in in Europe then premier was we thought they would play fair! We took then for being honest now we in this on going for years assault on our club!

Chelsea with American owners know not to take rules for what they are! Looked at them looked and found loop holes! Sell a couple of hotels and a Woman's team! Admit that they found out about the previous owners full in cheating and now they going to come out smelling of roses!

Fair play Chelsea owners I say!

Martyn Zeigler is totally full of shit about a case that we know about. I can only presume it's the same and a Chelsea account will come along and clarify why he's a bent fucker on this too

If our objective is to show up the rules as a persistent, traceable reaction to our success then why show them up in rules we don't want anyway.
I think it's mission accomplished.

Obviously if we are still found guilty of those same rules then it is ammo for Lord P..

Am I correct to say that what Chelsea have admitted to, is more akin to what we have been accused of, than say an Everton PSR issue?

If so, how can we be facing relegation, if a similar breach doesn’t even warrant a sporting sanction?

Were we offered a similar punishment pre tribunal?

You couldn’t get more “typical city” than turning down a financial settlement and then subsequently being relegated into oblivion.

Selling stuff back to yourself is fine because there is no rule saying so! But they should have been fair market valued! Because what if someone from Manchester sold a similar hotel but the price is half what Chelsea getting for there's?

On the admittance of the previous owners paying players of the books to join them, the likes of Hazard who we were after and thought we had him until the brown envelope changed his mind! because it wasn't these owners there is apparently a law a rule maybe that will get them off with a slap hand!!

Can you imagine the fall out if we were relegated for a lesser offence than Chelsea received a fine for?

That is the thing…I don’t know whether to be disgusted at this Chelsea news, or be delighted by it. Surely a non-sporting sanction would set a precedent for the City case?
