I reckon this is the midfielder we are signing till Rodri is back. I know he plays either side of defence too. That ls why i think it makes sense. When Rodri is back, this guys versatility will mean theres no issues.

We need experienced signings who can give us pace, power and athleticism in midfield and someone to take the pressure off Haaland.

Who ever mentioned not attempting ? Nobody not one person. The sensible though understand we might not be able to fix everything and get all the players we want to rebuild in one January window. Maybe we will , or maybe enough to finish top 4 and win a cup but expecting it is very needy and entitled.

Macfarlane and Echeverri are confirmed. Khusanov and Reis are in Manchester and presumably not here on holiday. Cambiaso I'm not even sure is a real story. Marmoush seems to be progressing well.
