SPACEX | NASA | Space Exploration | Other Space Ventures

Tom Muller and Gwynne Shotwell are the actual brains behind Spacex.

Elon Musk part in all this is the equivalent of a 5-year-old scribbling a rocket in chubby crayon and saying "I want you to build me this". His only genius is convincing people he's a genius.
Must of done something right, richest man in the world

Not SpaceX but some years ago I was fortunate enough to see a space shuttle launch. One of the most amazing sensory experiences I’ve ever had. The noise and the way it vibrates through the whole body. About 2 minutes or so after launch the emergency runway for the crew was in Spain! And about 20 seconds or so later they were committed to orbit with no way of going back. Would love to see another.

I think musk is a visionary…..not a genius, he has a skill of bringing all the right people together to work on his vision….and is probably a total **** when things don’t go his way

Starship test 7 tonight about 10pm UK time.

A whole new starship design going up this time. 3m taller, 25% more fuel, total electronic overhaul, 30+ cameras now and the flaps have moved. they are also trialing some new heat shield tiles.

this will do a launch of some dummy starlink satellites as a test.

Clear skies and a great view of Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn tonight and, the next view nights.
Was checking out Mars next to the full moon just the other night.

Having a phone with a GPS and a Space/Star app is brilliant in 2025. Use it all the time!
