Can you imagine if, a couple of years ago before we signed him, news broke that we were signing him until 2034!? The football world would have ended

He's been off this season but the guy is a monster, and his all round play is better than he gets credit for. Even if we just keep him for a few years and then he goes, it will be a hell of a few years

Said similar earlier in the thread. You only have to look in the match day thread or posts during the recent bad run to realise that some of our fanbase are fcukwits.

You’d imagine that there’s a % increase each season too. £500k is top dollar now, but it may not be in 5 years.

I'd argue he has been the most consistently on of any of our players outside of Dias.

Definitely room for improvement but the shite served up this season from the rest of the team certainly haven't helped
 
I'm guessing the paedo protectors have opened their article reporting Erling's contract extension up for comments and that the usual Rag, Dipper and Tarquin crayon munchers have taken the news well and are posting libellous comments which of course our impartial, publically funded broadcaster have allowed.

Mate they are popping out from everywhere gnashing their teeth in rage. I suspect this also means Pep and other core members of the team would have told him they are also staying and this frightens opposition fans the most!
 
Khusanov, Reis, Marmoush, and now, Erling extends...it's raining sugar plums! Marmoush out wide or as a #10 is going to be an absolute boon for Haaland, and vice versa.

Can see some people are just born whingers and can never find a reason for joy in their lives. Moaning about signing the best striker in the world on a 10 year deal? The same type who complain that the food was too tasty, or the beer is too cold. Or their girlfriend is too hot and faithful. Get a life and be happy for this as it’s huge sign of the progress made by the club.


Other teams around us have players saying they want to leave or are not extending their contracts. So when a player who can literally walk into ANY team on this planet and be the first name in the starting 11 we celebrate.
 
Isn't it funny how since the announcement, all these journalists that had absolutely no idea this had happened yesterday, suddenly have in depth knowledge of the deal along with knowledge of the sensitive details surrounding it like wages. Didn't have a clue it was happening but knows everything about it once it's announced. Seems entirely believable.... why do we(and I mean we as a society) give these chancers the time of day anymore? They haven't got a clue how much he's on.
