Correct, was on BBC as well. Berkovic smashed in a volley from a corner that shouldn't have been.
Pretty sure Mick McCarthy was on pundit duty waxing lyrical about our play, at the time Ipswich were in the Premier League and us in the Championship or whatever it was called twenty odd years ago.

KdB not getting the assist for Foden's first due to a deflection, while Salah gets his assist after a deflection against West Ham

I have to say Gundo, who's taken some stick recently has played well so far.
Cause we're starting to get a fit squad again. So he was rested against Brentford to play here.

Don't think the plan was 90mins week in week out.

He looks fresher here, showing for the ball more.

Think the performance is due to many things. The opposition, players coming back and some getting fitter. Maybe the new signings and Haaland has maybe given everyone a bit of a pep.

The very moment they had stopped pressing us and dropped in energy, we started looking like world beaters again.
The same as with Raz, you keep the lad in and around the box and 80% of your issues are solved. Forget about 6 and 8 positions, or those abominations of hugging the line on the right or god forbid on the left.
If Haaland cannot be dropped and we cannot play false 9, do some 9 1/2 version of it, please Pep.
The commitment to get past tge man with the ball takes some effort but if big erl is to be effective we need fast runners offering overlaps and width
...at pace

I was shocked by Gvardiol's body language in the first 20 minutes. He gave a few poor passes to Doku and shrugged like he had no belief in himself. I hope his confidence grows.
