Brentford away.

I’m not having a go at the fans who went.

Plenty of respect for that support and the trip on Tuesday night.

Reading a few comments on a Facebook page. Brentford fans didn’t rate our support at all. They thought it was very quiet. And one of the worst at their ground so far this season.

Yet ask any Leicester fan and our away support is one of the best away supports.

Very strange.
Tbf it sounded a bit better our away end than previous years at that ground

I was in the away end. We sang loudly for most of the game. Mates were watching on TV and send messages saying we sounded good on TV. Especially first half.

They had about 2 songs all game.

Probably a rag who’s second team is Brentford.
How many tourists this season? I went last season and there were quite a few despite it being midweek.

A few but a lot of the usual faces and lots of London Blues. I used to live in the smoke from 97-2003 so know quite a few from the branch back then.
I was in that branch 87/88. Had some quality trips back then. Used to take quite a few away then from London. Think someone called Tina ran it when I was in it.

Tina was still running it 10 years later. I don’t think she is any more. The train companies stopped the cheap football supporters club train tickets so I think the branch is a lot less popular now.

It’s strange because I could hear our fans loud and clear on numerous occasions watching the game on TV in the pub. Brentford is one of the better home atmospheres in the Premier League and it’s not easy to get on top of their fans but I thought they were surprisingly quiet for much of the first half, but improved as the game went on.

As someone who was there I thought the atmosphere was good , singing for most of the game , as for Brentford fans you could hardly hear them .

Very weird as I work with a huge Brentford fan who bigged us up massively - came in singing the Yaya Delilah song.

The Brentford Facebook fans are lying. Our fans were great for the whole match and theirs were the quietest I have heard there.

Today’s support was good with 50 to 60% of Blues singing. Just imagine how loud we would be if 80 or 90% of our following sang.

Great atmosphere today, though the jobsworth stewards tried there best to ruin it. Onto Paris we go hopefully a good atmosphere.
