We do though, that's the problem we have skin in the game but no say in how it goes, you can't hold yourself up as the leader of the free world and then tell everyone else it's none of our business

Coz i enjoy the discussions and genuinely want to know what animates different types of people. Not to mention, there sre Americans in here too.

Similarly, i have opinions about your PM and some of the things going on in your Country. But i don't have skin in the game this o don't get all bent out of shape about it...

Simply put, i expect and you all will deal with it as best you can or not.

Biden left America economically in a good place, bought down inflation, employment high, unemployment down, historic investments in infrastructure, manufacturing and climate, Supported EU and Ukraine against Russia, withdrew forces from Afghan (messily i will agree) fought to lower and eliminate Student Debt relief, more access to affordable care and more people having insurance and alot more else despite being held back by republicans blocking every proposal. But yeh, will go down as the worst.

I was watching a Spanish comedian joking about Musk and Trump. I used to think laughing at these goons was a way of dealing with the madness of it all. But it's gone too far.
These two and various other bad actors around the world are a serious threat the like of which we've not seen since the thirties.

Yes, in world affairs we all have some role to play... And we'll all play our roles regardless of who's President, PM or the leader of each Country.

But as it relates to internal American issues which are of most importance, you don't. And every citizenry chooses its representatives primarily because of internal issues and not external ones.

When Fentanyl flow across our borders and kill American children, you'd have no skin in that. When our border patrol catches and released known foreign criminals into the interior, you have no skin it. The crime rate, inflation, economy and other governmental policies affecting workers, families, children, schools, etc. You have no skin in that. And it is those issues that primarily animate voters.

Whether Europeans think who we select is nice generally isn't a factor

Fair enough , the difference is though what happens here barely has any impact on the rest of the world. What happens with the US particularly under the influence of Musk and Trump has the potential to impact greatly all around the world.
As the saying goes when America sneeze's the world catches a cold.

Biden may or may not be the worst president ever. He is however recognizable as a human being with all that goes with that good and bad.
Trump and Musk seem like they were created in a lab, and the experiment went horribly wrong.

People said that one of Farage's appeals was you could imagine having a pint with him.

We live in unprecedented times when a President-elect announces, through a spokesperson, there is an “enemies list,” and they’re going to seek retribution against them.

For instance, it is obscene that a lifelong military veteran, who reached the level of General and served with Trump should be on such a list. Commander BoneSpurs isn’t fit to lick the soles of the boots of most who wear the uniform, but he tells the world he knows more about the military than them and that they’re all stupid!

He is an embarrassing disgrace of a CIC.
