I personally think Barella is the best CM in the world ahead of Pedri, Valverde, Camavinga, Bruno G etc (counting KDB as an AM and Rodri DM). Would be a dream signing for me

yes we put 8 past Salford and 6 past Ipswich, but PSG, Chelsea, Brugge, Arsenal all to play against before window closes and they are no Salford City. CL and top is on the line over the next 5-6 weeks with almost only hard games. Kovacic and Gundo int gonna get us through these games coming every 3 days.

I feel this too. He's an ideal replacement for Gundo. Not to the same mold exactly, but will free Rodri up more to be creative so could eventually balance out.
