So you don’t want him to jump ship, but you do want him to leave?
There is no upside to a captain deserting his team mates in a difficult time, i dont down play all the good years and how much he did contribute, of course not but i have never liked or respected him as a man , he is a dog of a man and it has totally affected his mind this season and his interest in being here. He coud sit on the bench till the end of the season if he wanted to and still support the lads

Not when he was busy creating football folklore after his epic battles with Vinicius Jnr, winning doubles & trebles for City, & starring for England in major finals.

We all knew about his personal life at that point, so where we're the critics? They were far too busy revelling in the joy & success Walker brought to City & England to notice or care about his domestic arrangements.
He has had his vocal critics of his behavior since covid.

Anyway the point is that any gripe anyone will have with him takes nothing away from the player he was here, but it will affect how he is seen and talked about after the fact.

Also, there has been people including me that have anknowledged that he is the best in the world in recovery and defending transitions but also feels that he has been a weak-link due to his technical-levels for the majority of his time here. So I disagree with the notion that the critics have waited to pounce until now. He has always split opinion, and I feel the way he has chosen to live his personal life warrants people straight up disliking him and the association to the club

Walker's "legs going" still puts him in the 95th percentile for speed of global footballers. It's his form you should be referring to, & in that respect he's struggled this season like the rest of the squad have, or have his critics failed to notice this?

As to his private life, many fans have taken to the moral high-ground to have a dig at him, but used City's slump in form as a wall to hide behind. The truth is when Kyle was shuttling between the two women & familes in his life, he was considered the best RB in the world, & the best in PL & City history.

Few were bothered or complained about his chaotic love life when he was delivering the goods for City & England, but now age is beginning to catch up with him & City suffer a slump in form, they suddenly have a problem with our captain?

I think this says more about Walker's naysayers than it does Kyle. He's a fuckin legend & will always be. As for the women in his life, they can always walk away from Kyle the womaniser & his millions. They're not. Perhaps people should be questioning their morals too.
But didn’t you know? Everybody commenting about Walker’s private life have lead blameless lives themselves. Never made a mistake, had an affair or been divorced.

Whilst I don’t condone what Kyle Walker has done in his private life, he’s owned it and publicly apologised for it. I also think he’s paying for it literally in cash and the turmoil of mistress determined to do everything in public.

He’s been immense for us and I for one will be enthusiastic in my applause when he inevitably comes back and gets wheeled out at half time after he hangs his boots up.

But what has Walker's private life got to do with anyone else? If he's so bad, why're the two women in his life squabbling over him?

Why aren't you questioning the morality of two women fighting over a man. One's the wife being messed around on, the other knows he's married. Would you stick around your wife if you knew she was openly seeing another man? Would you be happy being the other man in a tryst?

Walker hasn't forced any of these women to be with him. I think it's his millions that have done the pursuading. There were always a smattering of mutterings about Walker's love life, but nothing like the avalanche of shite we're having to put up with every day, in this reality TV driven era of Social Media.

We'd be all better off if we left Kyle alone to sort his personal mess out & stop being all Norris Cole & Ena Sharples about his private life.

Kyle's private life has got NOTHING to do with his slight loss of pace or the form slump City have suffered. He's 34 years old & City are shit without Rodri! We've lost with & without Walker, which shows Walker alone wasn't a deciding factor.

It was 30m and no it’s not. Anyway, we are not signing Barella and he is not a 6.
What has being a 6 got to do with his age & If you think £35m 10 years ago is not equivalent or comparable to £70m in today's market then there's no hope for you. There's a reason why £70m for Barella is being seen as a bargain

Agreed 100%. He who is without sin & all that... )(

To be honest Walkers alleged deal/contract with Milan is supposed to be until 2027 so how do you have a loan deal for that long with purchase option. Some Italian concocted deal which doesn’t add up.

Sounds like the buy option is almost certainly going to be triggered.
No,,the loan deal is till the end of the season. Then if they trigger the option he is there till 2027 as their player, if they don't then he comes back.

I was in Milan last weekend and met a few Milan fans, they couldn't believe they could be signing him.

They all said they thought he was past it and were more concerned about his private life and that he has two wives!

Owned it lol. The mistress kept going to the media and he had to put out a pathetic statement and he did an interview with the sun a couple of months ago begging his wife to forgive him. It absolutely matters as it has affected his work

How on earth did we go from, vinny, dave, fernie and gundy to this, he has been representing us as a club and team disgracefully

My last post on him, good ridance

You wanted him to stay with the team 37 minutes ago

His speed has covered up for his mental lapses on the field, not really bothered about his off field actions. Now that age is catching up with him & not being able to rest Kyle due to our on-going injuries & a non existent midfield it has sped up his decision to leave for a less physical league. I don't think he's quite up there with Aguero, Silva etc but has been a monumental part of our success over the last 8 years

The right time to move on and both he and the club know it. He has been great for us, and the last 6 months he has not lived up to that. Doubt much would change in the next 6 months and he would probably start becoming a distraction as he is too big to be moved down the order. We already have a few players seen as playing due to Pep's loyalty to them so one leaving helps lift that.

His private life and issues are his own, I was more worried about reports around his dissatisfaction at being benched and looking for a new club at times than who he cheated on when.

None of that takes away how important he has been for the club, and how good he has been, when he was in form. Wish him all the best and will happily celebrate all he has contributed to.

Yeah if you want to pretend his numerous questionable escapades in the last few years boils down to two women fighting over him I'm not sure there is any point discussing it any further.

Everybody makes mistakes, every mistake is different and respect doesn't come by default. If any of my mates behaved the way Walker has done in their thirties I'd call them fucking idiots and question the morales of the people I am friends with. I personally wouldn't want these type of people around me, and much more important in this context I don't want them representing a club that I love. I don't really care how other people react to these type of actions. If you personally have no issue with it or it just doesn't bother you that is fine. But stating it as a fact that people didn't care when he delivered on the pitch is not true

Will also be my last post on this subject because I'm not sure discussing how we feel adults should behave is very interesting on the transfer forum. Great player for us, never a personal favourite. One of the best of all time in defending transitions, which Pep's system really weaponised to great effect. Not many can say they have been one of the best of all time at anything. I wish him well, but for sporting reason should have left after the treble in my personal opinion

Ye walkers legs going isn't too big of a deal for him, he's still fast enough. He does however need to stop heavily relying on speed and giving 5 to 10 yard head starts. Off the field has affected him mostly.
