Is it bad that I don’t fucking care, as soon as they got 1 back I knew we would lose we are fucking toothless in midfield, even if we get through next week it will just harm us getting too 4 in the premier league, just go out and concentrate on that.

I'm glad we've made new signings, Haalands extended and we have the new Argentinian on his way.

But the problems that we've seen all season are still there. Defence gets sliced open, they give the ball away too easily (Foden, get in the fucking weight room) and they're just prone to utter stupidity.

I want them to win against Brugge because I never want to see them lose, but im kind of happy to fuck the UCL off as quick as possible this season. We arent getting close to winning it and its time/resources/stamina that can be better put to use elsewhere.
 
The way we pissed that away after going 2-0 up was pathetic. Absolutely shit ourselves.

Nothing in the middle. No fight. No leadership. The subs did nothing to wrestle back any semblance of control in the game.
 
Biggest compliment I can give PSG is that they were every bit as good as we were against them at our peak a few seasons ago. They tore us a new one and 4-2 flatters us.

The difference in fitness levels between us was outstanding. I know we have an aging midfield but it’s more than that. Foden, Haaland and Rico are some of the biggest culprits for a poor work ethic/lack of mobility.

I wonder how many more 2-0 leads we have to throw away before we have to legally change our name to Manchester Hotspur.
 
Paris Saint-Germain look more like a Guardiola team than we do. The next midfield signings, both in attack and defence, will ultimately determine the direction we travel, but how we passed on Neves gives me grave concern.

We are shite. How can we not be when we are relying on Kovacic to play CM and Nunes who can’t get in in his natural position is playing RB. We were bossed start to finsihas we have been in most games this year when we faced a decent or half decent side. We are too fucking slow and not fit enough.
 
Well played PSG that Barcola is some player.

Absolutely no shock after going 2 nil up. Only shock was they were 18/1 at the bookies and just managed to squeeze 20 quid on before they scored.

We need the new lads in and quick and we need a full house next week to get us over the line against Brugges.

I honestly think Bernardo is done at City and I love the little bastard more than anybody :-(
 
A much better defensive display in the first half than what followed after taking the lead. A step too far and it was a tough ask in trying to defend a 2-0 lead with the current personnel who only just recently started regaining their form against a near enough full strength PSG side.
 
De Bruyne, Bernardo and Kovacic can't run anymore. Past their best. You need new midfielders.
 
A spectacular capitulation to rank alongside Feyenoord and Lisbon. We've run our race and we're out on our feet. 3-4 are too old and 4-5 aren't good enough. One or two don't want to be here.
