Thought we looked ok ish in the first half. Their press was causing issues but we competed and weren’t dominated.

Great start second half but Dias going off was a big miss. As for the rest of it, when they got 1 we knew they’d get two and when they got 2 there was never going to be any other outcome. We had absolutely no plan again.

Rico came on at half time, played left back, left back going into midfield and right back. How can he settle into a game like that, he made mistakes too and was off it but Jesus Christ. Huge failing by the club to leave the squad in that position.

No plan B. Why did kovacic come off? He gave the ball away a bit but at least he wasn’t chasing shadows.

Hopefully the new lads are available soon and Dias can play Saturday otherwise we’re going get fucked again. I bet Rodders can’t fucking wait to negotiate his next contract

I had looked and seen we were 2 points out of contention and thought that the teams above us needed to help us, not realizing Brugge was one of the teams on 11 pts and their GD was worse.

How fucking sad is that?!

Stuttgart and PSG play each other next week. A win guarantees qualification.

I think all city are really guilty of is thinking the players had yet another season in them and, after 4 in a row, I can fully understand why.

I think Pep thought they were done last season but they stepped up yet again, as they’ve done so much more often than not over the last few seasons.
I think this season was waiting to happen and will just speed up the rebuilding process somewhat.

Players looked scared to death to get the ball when he had it due to their press, which resulted in some misplayed passes, and outside of the header goal on the free kick, where the much more significant issue is that he was COMPLETELY un-marked, he couldn't have done anything on the other three.

I don't know, I just think he's way down on the list of things wrong with the team.

We could have had two goalkeepers in the net tonight and we’d still have been humped.

City used to be masters of keeping the ball especially under pressure.

Didn’t matter who we played, we kept the ball moving and passed our way out of trouble. Teams got sick of chasing us and we went on to win games.

This is a total and under shiyshow.

Far too many dribblers and not enough players comfortable in the ball. So either go back to what we know or turn into a counter team as this right now is a poor immatation.

Buy players who can pass the ball under pressure.

It looks like we're attempting to do some of the stuff that has been successful the past few years but either can't or won't do so much of the other stuff. I think the summer window will at least mirror this winter one with arrivals. A few departures are on the cards.

Our non exisyent midfield aint gpod enough to fight for anything. The rssult at weekrnd against a very poor side seems to have added to the dilusion on here.....
The only reason we are anywhere near the top 4 places is that baring the scousers the rest of the keague is barely average
