Legend of the club, but should no longer be starting and frankly should no longer be here, and the same can be said for several others. He's checked out. Ortega did absolutely fine during his spell and doesn't deserve to be back on the bench.

I mean, the criticism on the 3rd goal is wild. A bullet header low down next to the post.

Just think some fans have far too high an expectation from goalkeepers.
 
And I thought his distribution was back after Ipswich, silly me.

Like I said, It really identifies the nutjobs and the completely clueless.

To save that 3rd goal, Edersons starting position would have had to have been practically on the back post. Find me a single goalkeeper or coach that would ever say that was an acceptable starting position. Ederson has to start central and follow the ball over, he did that. Not his fault there's a man at the back post unmarked ready smash in a bullet header into the bottom corner on a slippy surface.
 
Don't know why Pep keeps tinkering with the goalkeeper as well. Maybe it makes him look more genius?
 
Can understand people saying he shouldn't save any tonight but fact is it's because he gets absolutely nowhere near them and doesn't even try to. The second goal he has time to flap an arm out at it while he's still sat on his arse, he could try actually getting up and reacting and the third he just doesn't read it. The best keepers in the world save at least 1 of 2 of them tonight and get you out of a hole when you need it. They save things you don't expect them to save and ederson just doesn't do that at the moment. His head just doesn't look in it whatsoever

Well he should've seen that and just hoofed it to Haaland every time, I mean we were forced to play like Stoke for most of this game so might as well embrace it to the fullest.
