He played 3 positions in one half of football for a team that cannot cope in the formation they’re being asked to play in using tactics they’re not capable of using. Crazy to single him out. He didn’t have a great game but how could he settle in that.

Silva is now as bad as Walker, he was awful tonight, looked like a little boy. Ederson and Kovacic both abysmal, Foden MIA. Really don't mind a better team beating us but that was pure capitulation, tactical fiasco, and some of the players cowardly. At one point I noticed 4 players all going for one PSG player in their D and he went passed them all. We just can tackle, the only balls we win our 70-30s, we are completely knackered after 60mins. Dias probably out again, Khusanov and Reis might be playing sooner than we think.

He’s crap.
 
Too many players out of form and others out of position. All their goals were down to individual fuck ups. Nunes, Lewis, Akanji and Gvardiol had shockers at the back. KDB, Foden, Bernardo and Kovacic were non existent, particularly Bernardo & Foden. Kovacic was just awful, losing the ball repeatedly. Absolute unforgivable collapse again.

Nunes and Lewis as full backs at this level is not sustainable. Neither are anything more than squad players. I really don’t see anything from Rico that makes me think he is long term. Bernardo? What has happened to him? He is nowhere near the level he used to be. Kev tried, but alas, time has caught up with him and he can’t carry us like he used to do, especially when Bernardo and Foden are invisible. Kovacic was repeatedly caught in possession.

And finally, the substitution at 2-2 Stones for Nunes whilst correct, was badly timed. I played and coached, one of the things I learnt was NEVER make defensive subs when defending a set piece. That was amateurish and caused confusion and a lack of concentration. Take the right back off, put a centre back on and they score from the right back area.

Well other players that used to let us control games are finished, such as Bernado.

Stones was another that was good at helping us control games but can't stay fit.

Jack used to offer control on the left but rarely starts.

Kev still has quality but not the legs.

There's nothing weird going on. Rodri is injured and others who offer control are either not picked, injury prone or over the hill.
