Deary me. Where do you even start with that.

Shoukd probably have been 6/7 really.

We need to play Ipswich standard sides every week but unfortunately we will be playing PSG standard.

I think we need to write this season off, accept that we aren’t winning anything and just accept wherever we finish.

Tonight was an absolutely diabolical performance. One of the worst of the lot. How we can still quality in this is a mystery given how shit we hve been.

Utter nonsense.

We have major personnel issues caused by extremely complacent recruitment.

Nunes and Lewis wouldn’t start for a bottom of the league side at full back.

We have no holding midfielder.

The legs of several players have gone.

The job for this season has to be top 4 and then rebuild for the next generation. It’ll be tough but it’s not impossible considering the other sides were competing with are extremely inconsistent.

My list is also 10 players but I’d keep Akanji as a rotation player as he is versatile.

For me, these 10 players need to move on:

Gundogan
Kovacic
Nunes
Bernardo
KDB
Ederson
Lewis
Stones
Grealish
Walker (he’s still ours, contracted until 2026)

To be 0-2 up after 53 minutes and lose 4-2 is absolutely spineless and sums up our season.

We should've lost 7-2 it was that easy once they got their first goal. I genuinely can't think of a midfield performance as bad as that in the 2nd for a long time. No pace, no aggression, couldn't hold the ball or tackle. As usual we gifted them chances.

I can't understand what Pep watched tonight but that was a real beating that. No one can tell me Douglas Luiz can't improve that midfield. Christ even Casemiro would!! :)

Oh well, I guess the last game might be exciting!!!

Speaking of ruthless, I would get rid of Nunes, Kova, Kev (that's just because of the age factor), Gundo, Bernie and Jack.

In the interim, as others have said, we obviously haven't found suitable midfielders that are available now. This is the critical area because the Dad's Army of Gundo, Kova, Bernie and Kev just can't do the job.

If your happy with OK performances then so be it.

When we won 4 in a row we didn't have OK players. We had brilliant players giving us moments of magic every week.

OK just don't cut it anymore, if we want to continue picking up silverware.

Nunes is not the answer. He's been tried in 3 or 4 positions now and has failed in every one. He's a panic buy.

A portugese Phillips, but a bit faster.
 
Chased Bellingham for a year only to be rejected.
Panicked and bid for Rice last minute but Arse had already put in the work.
Wanted a back up to take the load off Kev, identified Paqueta but pulled out because of betting charges, panic bought Nunes instead.
Bought Kova to replace Gundo and be back up to Rodri when he wasnt a regular starter for Chelski.
Sold Lavia, with a weak buy-back clause.
Passed on Paulinha.
Bought Kalvin Phillips.
Refused to pay B.Guimares buy out clause and tried negotiating with Newcastle until the buy-out clause expired.

This is why we've fallen off a cliff.

Jack is the scapegoat in this squad and its easy to blame him when shit happens, Players are being asked to play in far too many precisions that are not normal to them, NO fullbacks or Holding Midfield Players they are just being asked to cover,

City and Pep fucked up in the summer, They let it happen and am sorry for saying it. Rodri was a ticking timebomb,
Ok we all sort of understand the inverted fullback and not having a left-back is a major gamble facing the better teams with pace, But when you have Walker you have protection with his recovery pace and we can win silverware for fun, But NOT having somebody else that plays holding midfield is a crime in my book

This all day long an awful lot of fair weather fans on here, to hear them call everyone of these players and our manager it's a wonder we ever won anything with how shit these players are according to some on Bluemoon.

Spot on this - the player was offside as soon as the ball was played forward. Gvardiol clearly did not deliberately play the ball. This team of officials were incompetent all night - even though it was an easy game to ref. I was furious in the first half when KDB was almost cut in two at the waist without any sanction. Incompetence
