I think it's time to put the old guard out to pasture and concentrate on promoting our youth lads. They can't do any worse.

Chuck them straight in. You never know. It might work.

His tactics have well and truly been found out this season.

All a team has to do is press like mad. Smother us when we have the ball in our own half. They know we aren't going to lump it forward. Or sit back and pounce 30 yards from goal and jog past our midfield who will be ambling around like they walking the dog.

I can stomach not winning trophies every season. But to see how far we've fallen this is unfathomable.

He has tried some youngsters, Rico , Nunes, and McAtee, who are slowly getting ruined., both for now and in the future!!!

Who may not be able to recover from the pasting and slating that they are getting on and off the field.

By playing out of position or not getting the support from their teammates around them!!!

And playing in a team lacking confidence, pace, aggression, and a winning streak!!

So I am not sure, how putting more youngsters in this position will help them or City now or in the future.

Let the players that got us here??

Get us out of here!!

Better to ruin those at the back end of their careers, rather than those at the beginning??!!

The respective benches told a story, we had out of form Grealish, man of glass Stones plus kids and freebies. The opposite of PSG

I just watched the PSG-City match on replay - utterly speechless with what I saw. Genuinely not trying to be cute here but Im moved to comment as I was gobsmacked, I just couldn't believe what I saw, that wasn't a City team and it seemed they were just trying to counter instead of controlling midfield like they usually try to do.

The good news is I'm sure they can't be as bad again, surely someone at the club is going to give them a rocket.

The Dutch lot at home, last 10 minutes???

Currently, there are no guarantees that this will not happen again, until a proper CDM is brought to the club, long term or short term???

It's also a season too far for some players. Which leaves some players exposed and looking not good enough.

Piss poor planning and preparation.

Leads to exactly, where we are currently, hoping and making excuses for the obvious??

Players get old and lose their pace and energy??

Players get injured??

Players go out of form?

Players need to get replaced before this happens?

MCFC is nearly a billion pound business every year??

But without maintaining the Senior team and squad, that goes on the park every 3 or 4 days for 11 months of a year!!!

The business will wither and not be able to function properly.

But as that old adage goes??

It is what ,it is!!! Shit happens sometimes??

You can only bed in new players and reorganise or sort out your problems, if you have got the players to solve these problems??!!

I’ve not heard yet that,we have signed a CDM or 2 ??

Or a proper LB??!!

Or spend your money in buying the most critical player to achieve your objectives, as the finished product???

Cos I don’t think we can afford to risk buying the wrong gem or waiting 2 years for them to be polished up??!! IMHO

I think we may now have enough CB’s for the next 12 months??!! :0) LOL

But he also should never have been made to play RB in his life or in this City team, not his fault, if he appears clueless, playing in a position,he’s not experienced enough in.

At least, he turned up and put a shift in???

It was 2-2,when he was subbed off!!

I couldn’t, believe that with Dias going off that Stones, did not replace him immediately or Nunes after the first PSG goal,as it was clear to every City fan in the ground, where the PSG threat was from or was aimed at, & Nunes was in the firing line, and getting no meaningful help!!:0(
 
We are not only slow, we’re an incredibly weak team physically. We got bullied by PSG and their midfield wasn’t a lot bigger, just much stronger. They hounded us, won the ball easily and won every duel. Our midfield is by far one of the weakest physically.

We cant even fucking foul in transition.
