I’ll have my loupe to my eye at the weekend and expect no more paste.We need to stop looking at the Premier league for midfielders. They’re usually either going to be not good enough (Nunes), too expensive (Bruno Guimaraes) or paying a huge premium for one good season (Caicedo, Baleba). Plus half of them don’t have Champs league experience.
If Brighton etc can find these gems, we should be able too as well.

Pep won’t play those gems though ? I am sure we have someone in O’Reilly. Would turn into a world beater at Brighton. + most we would go have no champs experience. It is what it is. Caicedo turned into Chelsea’s best mid. Baleba can also only get better. Still better then the midfield we have now. Have to take Risks now. Football is in a transition most teams are rebuilding. 12 days is enough to get at least one Midfielder in and I’m sure we aren’t starting from scratch but it has to be someone very good or else wait.
If we don’t get anyone I’m sure it won’t be for the lack of trying.

We want to be better than Real Madrid, we don't want to be taking players they've deemed not good enough for them. Very rarely works when players move away from Real. Casemiro, Varane, Di Maria (good at PSG, bad move to united), Ramos, James RodriguezMadrid apparently want Ederson as their new Casemiro.
