Since it's a ban from UEFA, is that ban not just active in UEFA competitions and not domestic ones? With other words, could we loan a player to them now when Girona is out of CL anyway?

not they signed up to an agreement that included the ban

As confirmed by UEFA on Friday, it has been agreed that Manchester City will not be permitted to transfer players to or from their sister club Girona until September 2025, including the summer transfer window of 2025

An amazing talent though, forget his age. I would be gutted if we missed out and I am sure City would be.

His technical ability and personality make him stand out. Not just another talent but probably the midfield talent for his age group. If he goes to Arsenal he will be there for years, but hopefully he comes to City.

I read quotes where Nypan has said it is €10m and that Rosenborg can’t ask for more as that was agreed and it is purely down to him where he goes. Sounds like a clause.

I would pay €20m if it was my money, just don’t need to as the fee is €10m. Just give him a huge sign on fee.

Its not allowed to have clauses in Norway, maybe more an gentlemensagreement. RBK need all the money can get, Ørjasæter va rumoured to Celtic for 10, so Nypan should cost more. He is an Ødegaard in the making, or a Norwegian Iniesta some users in here put it.
 
Just can’t get excited by these type of signings. Whenever a loan is the plan for the player it makes it highly unlikely they ever play a game for city.

Will be sold on for profit in 3 years
 
Exciting, but think they have taken a page out of the Ødegaard book. I suspect we will soon see reports that he is travelling to different clubs, going on a tour around facilities

From what I understand about him he has said previously he will choose his next club carefully and it will depend on the set up and plans for him. He is weary of going to a lower level club first before a big club, in case it doesn’t work out. He favours a club which can take him to the top.

Haaland was a sure thing when he was at Molde, Nypan is the same. Straight to the top. If he doesn’t, people can refer to this post. I’m not worried though he will go to the top.
 
It's a business deal- buy him for a reasonable price, develop him and sell him in as short amount of time as possible to maximize profit without losing the initial investment.

Not every signing is supposed to excite the fan base.
