My growing up consisted of hoping Rosler was going to score, and after that it was hoping Kinky provided some entertainment.

He's alluded to O'Reilly not having the mentality/belief in himself to play DM a number of times.

Pep has said he's got all the quality to do so, so it seems it lies at the feet of the players.

O'Reilly should be playing as a box to box midfielder. Kovacic on the other hand should be told to stay in his position and stop wandering all over the place.

Marmoush could offer more physicality in midfield and attack. Savinho and Foden are a bit lightweight and KDB isn't the athlete he used to be. We lack physicality not only in CM but also around Haaland. In any case, Marmoush will provide healthy competition for places in the attack.

Pep may have to choose between Khusanov and Lewis. Khusanov is likely to be much better in 1 vs 1 situations but he doesn't know our tactics, build-up play etc. Lewis is likely to start. The question is whether he or Nunes will be at LB.

I’d play Khusanov and Marmoush from the start, just to give everyone a bit of a lift and to shake things up. We’re going to get overrun in midfield whatever team we put out, so I’d just take the game to them and hope to outscore them.

Our next 2 league games we are going to have pep disciples outplay us in peps image. I fear Pep won't be able to resist going toe-to-toe and we'll get over run in both if we do.

Peps lost to old coaching staff before of course but he's never been out done at his own game. Could be a rough couple of games but perhaps it might finally be the catalyst for the penny to finally drop that see's a desperately needed change style.

Mine started off better with the late 60s/ early to mid 70s team then got progressively worse. I was bringing up the fam during 80s- 2000s so was spared the physical hurt, just baffled by goings on. So recent months have started to feel a bit like early 1983. And it's not at all enjoyable!!
