Thank You Kyle Walker

Was the main reason we weren't as poor defensively over last few years as we are now. He nullified countless counter attacks and through balls ect. He made the highline possible.

Cheers Kyle, all the best.

Kyle Walker......where do I start ? You were an integral part of our clubs most successful era for which I'll be eternally grateful.
Those battles with RM were epic and amongst some of the best football ever witnessed anywhere.
The CL final speech before the game was immense my son.
Enjoy Milan Kyle, I'll be watching from afar cheering you on.

Not the ending you deserved but there is much much more positiv and good things about your service to remember as City player.
True legend.
Thank you, Kyle.

Forget his private life, it never affected his performance on the pitch and in another era you wouldn't have even known about it.

He's unquestionably one of our greatest ever defenders and an integral part of our most successful era. You only have to look at our current problems to see how much a prime Kyle Walker is missed. We've played for years with a high line, high pressing game and if we were caught out, he mopped up. He also covered the DM transition years; when Fernandinho was tiring and before Rodri worked it out, Kyle covered the balls over the top, the breakaways through the middle and even on the opposite wing. When we became strong in the middle, he put the best wingers in the world in his pocket.

I also seem to recall reading a stat somewhere which said that in his first 5 years with us, he was only ever unavailable for selection due to injury for 7 games. Put that in the perspective of our current problems!

Greatest Premier League RB ever and we were privileged to witness his contribution to the 17 trophies he won.

Thank you Kyle, it will be a very long time before we, or anyone else, get another one of you.

Although he's been a good servant to the club and a great player at his peak he's put the club in a bad light through filling the gossip pages about his sordid private life, something I haven't bothering reading about BTW. I just cannot respect him as a man for his off field antics.

Some blues will revere him as a club legend (fair enough) but to me I'll always think of him as a club leg-end.

That said I bear no malice towards him and I hope he can get his family back together and be loyal to his Mrs. And I hope he does well in Italy.
By your logic, we can't respect Einstein as a scientist or Napoleon as a general because they bonked multiple women.

Very good summary. Not sure if he's best ever but absolutely fantastic for us. I think the highlight for me has to be the way he had Mbappe in his pocket.

A pivotal cog in the greatest title winning machine this country has ever seen. That's how he will be remembered.

Did the right thing in going now, it was painful for all involved everytime he stepped on the pitch this season. But that's forgotten now. His legacy remains intact as the greatest right back in premier league history.

Nice one Kyle, It's been a pleasure.
