Stones at DM when he has played 15 minutes in weeks just isn’t going to happen.

We are clutching at straws.

He needs to tell Kovacic to sit in front of the back four and stop wondering all over the pitch.

He needs to drop Nunes, keep Lewis out of the side and give Akanji and Gvardiol a rocket up their arses.

I get starting Marmoush and I understand that due to our defensive issues playing Khusanov, but it worries me. Throwing a new forward transfer into the first 11 works quite well due to the unpredictability. However throwing in a new defensive transfer leads to uncertainty and confusion, add the language issues and it can go very wrong. That can be very hard to come back from. I hope I am wrong.

If Akanji and Gvad are full backs who are our CBs?

Good point. Our hands may be tied though. Brugge next game and if anyone is doubtful, we have to rest them

It's not like we aren't a mess defensively anyway.

Play Stones, he gets injured then who the fuck plays in defence against Brugge seeing it's a must win game.

Just don't throw the lad under a bus giving him stupid passes around the edge of our box, or ask him to play intricate passing under pressure in the final third

Sometimes you've got to be pragmatic but I'm not sure we have pragmatism our locker.

Fitness prevailing......
,, 9Start with square pegs in square holes and use the bench early if needed.

Fwiw.....any coach p should make it conditional with his players that q if a system or selection isn't workinog, it will be changed at any point in a .o...
15 or 85 minutes.

Same rules for ALL players and fuck their ego's. We're in a fucking war and we need warriors mentality.

Pep's habit of making substitutions on 65 minutes is restrictive & predictable.

Do things when you CAN not when you MUST !!

Is Pragmatism our latest 'under the radar' signing.

Right or left footed ?

Every club throws their newest player into the staring XI. Why not city ? Paid 40M to wait weeks before he plays ? It’s not like we have an injury crises. Y‘all don’t want to see Lewis or Nunes but who else is going go play ?
If Khusanov doesn’t start we will see both of them. If he does only 1 of them. Also he can’t play against Brugge where we need Stones.

Fuck Chelsea. Tomorrow be our resurgence.... we have a beleaguered defense and midfield composed of aging yet honorable question marks but our ammunition on the front line has goals in it that should and will strike fear in their hearts.... Haaland and Marmoush the goals will runneth over...

Bring war to them and they will wilt!

We will rise to meet them and will emerge victorious! ! ! !

Sorry... Just in the midst of watching Gladiator II.

Stones not fit enough to be dm.
Under no circumstances can we play Kova and Gundo in the same midfield.

Our injury situation means Pep will have to cobble a team together putting several square pegs in round holes so we could get beat and beat heavily. If that transpires to be the case so be it. I've not forgotten many years of heavy painful defeats before all the success so it's Que Sera Sera, whatever will be will be. I like going to the next game after a heavy defeat because it galvanises my spirit and resilience to adversity. I feel humble yet proud of my allegiance to City, it's all part of being a blue I think.

I feel excited to see Marmoush Khusanov and possibly Ries play. Even though we got well beaten in Paris I'm looking forward to going the game and raising the atmosphere, I hope you are too.

Don't just sit in your seat in silence shitting yourself about getting beat, make some fuckin' noise and make it loud! The team and Pep nead their spirits lifting so we need to play our fart in creating a vociferous atmosphere. Bring it on!

COME ON CITY!!!

I shall be trumping loudly !!

I presume you’ll do anything other than watch and support the team then?
Watching and supporting is radically different to having an objective opinion.

Kyle checked out a month ago and did the very decent professional thing by transferring as quickly as possible so as to avoid unnecessary disruption.

I wanted Ball sacked on his first day but still supported the team & club !!

I’d play Khusanov and Marmoush from the start, just to give everyone a bit of a lift and to shake things up. We’re going to get overrun in midfield whatever team we put out, so I’d just take the game to them and hope to outscore them.

Ortega
Akanji
Stones
Khusanov
Gvardiol
Kovacic
De Bruyne
Foden
Savinho
Marmoush
Haaland
That’s a nice team!
