May be getting older but im excited about today ...little bit like the old days(No i dont want to go back)
City still favorites to win but the gut feeling is back it makes me much more jittery that always makes a win great .
City 3 -1 .
Setting off soon few beers on way so take care blues big week coming up COC.

I agree with your point, but if Marmoush is sensational, who knows what may happen? Dortmund reached the CL final last season without being special or very strong. It's a cup competition.

I was just wrestling with the syntax of your original post but the reason why we might save our best team for Bruges is that we are odds on to win with it and also to progress to the last 16 by beating a side outside the top 8 in the play offs.
The Chavs are much better than Bruges and we have 17 other PL games to get into a CL spot - so all that might simply mean Stones either on the bench tonight or subbed off early.
 
I know we did against Ipswich but it’s difficult to see us keeping a clean sheet with our current options in midfield.

Hopefully Marmoush will start and galvanise the rest of the players.

a sharp instant step in odds (either way) suggests something-a step up in odds suggests something negative-albeit, doesn't say what that is.

Bookies nowadays have software that reacts to betfair-so they don't create too many arbritrage opportunties for punters.

Here the instant drift was from 2.2 out to 2.3...its not hugely significant-but suggests someone(s) laid a few thousand (bet against City).
 
I'm hoping any players with niggles/ injuries are rested for the Brugge match. Probably means some of the new lads starting.
Not the ideal situation but with difficult the fixtures over the next few weeks, it is now all about squad management
