If I were Jack I'd be really, really nonplussed. He's done nothing particularly wrong in his recent cameo appearances. He was excellent in midfield when played there a while back. Bernardo is played every single game, and looks dead on his feet. At least Jack would give some kind of screening to Kova and Gundo. Just unfathomable.
Oh, and the world and his little dog can see that Nunes, whatever else he is, is not a defender. There, though, I'll give the leeway — our injury record in that back line is beyond a joke this year.
Otherwise — so as not to be negative — I quite like the team.

I'm not the manager so I'll trust he's seeing things we're not. I've no idea how Bernardo (my favourite outfield player) and Gundogan get starting slots.

I think he was well worth a place today, it’s not his fault he isn’t in.

If it’s Kovacic, Gundogan and Bernardo as a proper midfield 3 playing close together, we might be ok.

If it’s the mental 4-2-4 with only Kovacic and either Gundogan or Bernardo in the middle, I suspect we’ll get battered.

We’re playing without wingers so I don’t think we’re going 4-2-4
