My wifes dad and brother was at that match..they made it home ok but lost their friends that night.I dont. I will always have empathy for 39 fans of theirs who unexpectedly lost their lives.

Eh?
Of course it will have an impact.
The club will most likely go with what we have until the summer if dumped out of the champions league. What we gonna do with all these players with 1 game per week?
Some posters love to jump on anything TH says and it makes them look rather silly.
Transfers are fluid, anything can happen. We have all witnessed done deals end up not done at all.Don’t be deluded. Peps playing Nunes as first choice right full back at the moment. If they’re willing to get the right players now they’ll do it regardless of the CL , top 4 finish is more important than the CL next round this season in a year we can’t win it. It will also give the new signings time to settle now before challenging properly next season.
I believe TH has since said he believes city have got Cambiaso - both tweets can’t be true but so if the latter is then the former wasn’t…
Nunes could be a revelation at RB.
Better than anyone we've played there this season. Maybe give him a chance.
Better than Rico.
Exactly and with an actual upside.Better than Rico.

I suppose it's all about opinions, but in mine, the very fact Nunes is even being used by City reflects the poor state of our squad. "Better than anyone else we've played there" isn't the quality level we've set at City. This isn't the fault of Nunes, it comes down to our recent poor squad succession planning.
It seems we're looking at alternatives for every position Nunes has been tried in, so if successful, what do we do with him then? Sorry to disagree with you gents, but Nunes is not up to City's exacting standards, & is only playing because our squad's on its arse numbers & quality wise. We saw how he was tortured in Paris & added nothing noteworthy to our poor performance & never will from what I've seen. God forbid he ever came up against Vini Jnr!
My hope is his situation, & that of Philips, Kovacic & Grealish will be addressed this summer. We've traditionally had far better in their positions, & it seems our recent recruitment drive is aimed at returning us to that level.
Matheus was a panic buy we should've never bothered with. I can't think of one modern City great who Nunes could get near in terms of footballing ability. Once we get our squad back on track, he & the players mentioned above need to get gone imo.
